Shin Soon Rok is actually the name of the main lead in the webtoon. I like the actor Shin Sung Rok, but in the webtoon Shin Soon Rok is supposed to be younger than Yumi but of course actor Shin Sung Rok is older, and looks older.

Yeah I can understand why they added the romance, but i just wish they didn't.

I meant the little romantic scenes they had were cliche and cringey. Like for example the finger flick, the drunk hug, etc.

why are so many veteran actors/actresses being paired with rising actors? it doesn't make much sense to me but oh well, i'm sure this drama will be great.

the female lead does cry her way through the drama, but her acting is amazing so I don't mind!

Honestly I got to episode 5/6 or something and I found out she has a crush on the male lead's brother till episode 11 and I had to drop it. it's ridiculous that she's a weightlifter and going to a weight loss clinic just for her crush- it's cringe.

I agree. I fast forwarded through 90% of the show and he never REALLY got better at all. He literally forgot about his kids like ??? I- I honestly felt bad for the female lead because she deserved so much better and she honestly seemed so much happier without him. Also I believe the kids come back in the last few scenes but I could be wrong as I watched this a longgg time ago.

I really do like this drama. I love the partnership chemistry between the leads. But I really don't like the romance they added. it kind of felt unnecessary. Also the romance scenes were kinda cringey and cliche... I wish they just stayed partners. But in K-dramas, a man and a woman can't be friends.

This is also not my favourite drama, but I feel like the hate train on it is ridiculous. I can't believe people hate on Song Hye Kyo for being Hyun Bin's ex. I've seen some of her hate comments, and it's truly disgusting.

she's a great actress. hoping she'll get a main female lead role. Also isn't it amazing that she's still friends with Song Hye Kyo after so many years? love them!

Yea, but what I meant by "makes no sense" it's that even if it's a fantasy, there are a LOT of plotholes. I think the story progressed better in Hotel Del Luna although I didn't quite enjoy that drama either.

I mean just because someone doesn't like her character and prefers a different kind of female lead doesn't mean they are misogynistic, just means they have a different preference than you :D

I said right before he became an actor which was when he was 17. I beileve he debuted when he was 18? or 19? not sure. So yea, he knew what he was doing and the victim deserved an apology no matter what.
