Whatever. I l really love Romance and always ship couples so hard but with Mijung and Mr.gu couple I'm not really feeling it. They are making it too much melodramatic.. It seems they will make love in next episode. Mijung is like in some kind of trance and connected to Mr.gu like a magnet. She doesn't even care about his background and ready to give herself to him. Calling it Obsession maybe right word 🤔
Overall Mr.Gu character arc is a misfit for me to this drama as they should have used different kind of one instead of Gangster.
Mijung character seems fells flat over these last few episodes. I wish they should have more focused on her introvert nature. How she dealt with it and overcome it, instead of focusing on Romance line.
My favorite character of this drama ChangHee and second favorite character Kijung. No need to comment about them much. I have absolutely no issues how character arcs are written. I'm loving it.

In Ep 13, changhee outburst scene is good, Mother death scene is heartbreaking 💔 but remaining everything seems so flat.
If 2,3 years passed and Mr.gu seems still looks like a loser? How in the world he becomes a gangster with that personality in first place. He never has that vibe. Just we have to believe he is a gangster. I didn't even pay attention what business he is doing as a gangster. Is it legal or illegal. Whatever. If he involved in some shady business he need to pay price for it before getting back to mijung. Why mess with her life. She seems still in a la la land even after 2,3 years. Still waiting for him. Unless Mr.gu gave up everything and comes to her. Happy ending is impossible to this pair.
My favorite character is still changhee. I'm looking for his character arc after this timeskip. Only character that grown on me with every passing episode.
Kijung character gets the least screen time but still no issues with her character arc. Never gets boring whenever she appears.
I really hate timeskips in dramas at the business end episodes (13 to 16).

If 1 years passed far during story progress and 2,3 years during timeskip.
Even Mr.gu and Mijung gets happy ending. Life won't be easy for them. For suppose if Mr.gu married at 43 and got a child at 44 or 45. How he going to support his child when after crossing 50, body stops supporting slowly. I'm 100% sure he will get health issues as he always abuse his body. If Mr.gu and Mijung has 10 years age gap. She has to fill in his shoes and run family. She will never ask him again to worship her. 😂
This movie seems to encourage adultery. Cheater are always cheaters no matter how beautifully you cover them. Karma haunts you at the end of the life when you are bed ridden with sickness.
I'm yet to watch today's episode. I don't want timeskip. It sometimes kills emotional connectivity with characters. I get it mijung, mr.gu story arc needed some timeskip to move forward but the other 2 siblings characters need this timeskip as well? . I will comment after watching it.
Mr.gu, Mijung arc is just okay. Idk why most of the people overhyping it. I felt mr.gu background story completely unnecessary. They should have used different kind of story arc and finished it in simply without interrupting ongoing relationship. I am more interested in how Mijung character behaves once they officially started dating and living together. How she adjust herself day to day life with Mr.gu as they both have complete opposite personalities.
As many of her previous relationships failed. It will be interesting to see how this new relationship of her shapes up as she fell completely in love with him. But it seems by the time they become couple officially drama will be over.
You may think i unnecessarily complaining too many times but I'm really enjoying this drama more than many people at the same time i felt everything predictable as everything progressing in formulatic way.

I mean why not? If we start watching story arc from his point of view from the beginning definitely we felt something for him and empathize with his character
Ofc he pays for his crime by going to jail and tried to live rest of his life differently.
It will also give mijung like character whole new dynamic and real challenge. She has her own insecurities but she somehow connect to new personality of Mr.gu without knowing anything about his past. Once she learn truth about his dark past. She need to make a decision to accept him or not. It will be really interesting to watch these kind of complicated character arcs. As this drama is labeled as slice of life by many people.
It will be more realistic if mr.gu actually a bad guy from the beginning and killed her, spend sometime in jail. Jail life change his mentality and decided to live rest of life differently. So he goes underground hiding from her brother who still didn't forgive him and start living very ordinary life without getting too many people attention and met mijung, fell in love with her.
Instead of this predictable setup. Seen in so many movies and dramas. Thats the reason from the beginning I'm not able to connect with his character. I kind of predicted his character storyline from the beginning.
Giving a murder to second chance at life will be a fresh take, as we don't see those kind of stories very often.

Not hating, but many disappointed with love triangle. It frustrating to watch love triangle drama when its ongoing. 2ml character feels like 3rd wheel from the beginning and he never has a chance to begin with. We all know who fl likes from the beginning. So love triangle seems like formality as this is romcom.
Nope can't compare with Bokjoo. Both are completely different. Bokjoo is so calm with natural comedy. Here its so loud.
Soohyuk need to read room first. Otherwise he will only get hurt. Taesung is entertaining at the same time annoying, his childish behavior when its comes to hanbyul sometimes irritates me. No one gonna like you if you behave like that. I still feel love triangle completely unnecessary. Instead they can add more scenes btw TeaSung and Hanbyul developing relationship slowly like in Kim bokjoo. Enemies to friends to lovers to soulmates written beautifully in Bokjoo. Here 3rd party having feelings for main character somehow kills the magic.
My one and only complaint is love triangle in this drama otherwise drama is fun and entertaining only if you warm up to main leads characters. I really wish they won't drag down this love triangle for many episodes. I also hate to see too many jealous scenes. It was never funny.
