There is love triangle. He proposed to fl, on same day ml proposed to her. if you like his character you will be okay otherwise u will find it annoying. Regarding breakup i didn't even reached that stage as they started dating only in recent episodes. As it is a Rom-com, breakup is a must. maybe they will breakup in upcoming episodes. there is chance for it.

Sadly most of the kdramas these days following open ending trend. Playing it safe and leaving everything to audience imagination.

I give this drama a solid 8/10. I can't give more because i have some issues. This review is based on my personal opinion after watching this drama. I will only point out things i didn't like too much.

I don't know why writers chose Gangster background arc for Mr.gu if they are planning to play it safe. Did they really feared people won't root for him if he has real criminal history? It was like only good people has right to heal. Why not a criminal get second chance at life after getting punishment for his criminal acts.. Even that gangster story is also not that interesting. To be fair some scenes btw mr.gu and mijung in the earlier to mid episodes is well written with meaningful dialogues but felt flat after introducing Mr.gu background story.

They are also rushed things of changhee and kijung characters as they have adjust accordingly to mr.gu and mijung timeline.

I also didn't like the fact they used almost 3 years timeskip just to justify father remarriage?

I probably won't re-watch it anytime soon.

I think it's best to watch these kind of dramas only when it's airing. It will be hard to binge watch.

Happy ending or open ending. It doesn't matter as long as it make sense and not forced.

They are also part of this drama. I watched everything without skipping anything. I think i have right to say what i like, what i didn't like. I even didn't go that deep into details.

Take it easy.

Don't do dirty to my changhee character. It seems they are rushing things with his character. I came this far solely for his character and kijung character. Not for fantasy romantic couple which lost realistic touch long ago. Idc what kind of ending they get.

I just want my changhee to be happy.

If he gets happy ending, then what about the injustice faced by the people with his gangster acts. I'm sure knowingly or unknowingly he hurts many people. Waiting for turn himself to police and get punished, liberated himself, instead of running away to different place and get happy ending romantically.
I still really wish writers should have chosen different kind of background arc instead of Gangster. If it is a rom-com drama i would have ignored it and shipped Mr.gu, Mijung couple wholeheartedly but as for now, I'm not.

My Poor Chang hee and kijung. I'm looking forward what kind of ending these two characters will get. They are sole reason why i kept watching this drama even though i felt little bit boring and dragging things in second half (Ep 10 to Ep15) of this drama. I still didn't like they used time skip.

FL character is big disappointment. She really tested my patience level in the last few episodes.

As per ending. Not at all satisfactory. FL just got away simply even after doing stupid things. Her husband being a complete doormat to her is also disappointing. She almost single handedly ruined his career by helping a drug dealer to escape. He is about to get promotion if he caught them.

Whole Luis, Rhea, Jinha story is a mess. It will give headache instead of thrills.

If you are yet to start this drama. Just give it a pass. Watch it only if you have nothing else to do.

Yes he seems to turn himself to police. That's why chunhee got less sentence.

My Only Suggestion to future viewers. This drama crew won't take any kind of responsibility if you get mental breakdown after watching this drama. Please keep it on mind and start this drama at your own risk.

Eunpyo Character will be a role model as she treats her husband with so much respect.

She reaches out to him first whenever she need some suggestions or help.

She share everything with her husband and has excellent communication skills.

I never saw she telling any kind of lie to him or hiding something from him.

Perfect wife material any man can dream off.

Those who completed watching drama will only get this.

None of the character in this drama is likable. Even Eunpyo husband character, they make him complete doormat.

Stay away from this and be healthy.

Watch it only if you like realistic characters and believes no one is perfect. Especially Eunpyo character will test your patience level.

But this drama is extremely directionless. Directors and writers have no clue which genre they have to follow.

What if he actually a murder? Still they don't care?

In asain countries, especially in india with grown up unmarried daughters in house. Parents won't welcome a stranger into house without knowing minimum background details about him.

But they should have showed us something like he trying to getout of that life he didn't like and wanting to go back to mijung and her family. They never showed that kind of hints. All he did nothing except drinking alcohol and being looked depressed.

Did yeom family know completely about his background now and about him being a gangster, the shady business he is doing?

I still like my mister much more than this. This is just above average drama infront of My Mister. Because My mister drama never forced any kind of Romantic arc till the end but this focused more on Romantic line and very little bit on character growth. Overall Storyline also not that interesting.

I has this one doubt always in my mind. If yeom family somehow learnt about Mr.gu background before getting much closer to him or before forming a strong opinion on him. Will they still have accept him? They are very ordinary family with their own kind of problems.
Will they accept a person with gangster background? I don't think so. No parents in the world wants their daughter to date a person who has gangster history, no matter how much he changed presently. His dark past will always haunts him and the safety for people around him has no guarantee at all.

During those 2,3 years something he really did nothing to pull himself out of that life he didn't like. He was like in whatever depression mode🙄.

Now he wants to be with Mijung again.How romantic... What a beautifully written character.

My favorite character in this drama. His character doesn't make some impact straight away but grown up on me slowly and steadily. Well written most of the time.

Because he know, his children wont look after him once he is bedridden. He need someone by his side.

Nope. She has expectations from him. Like, he will understand her, he will never let her down.

They are living in the one of the fastest growing country in the world. With cost of living increasing with each and every day. Definitely it will effect on our thoughts and feelings. As a working person everyone must keep themselves upto date. Thats the only to way survive. So much competition and many are waiting for their chance.

In 2 and half years so many things will change. Reality is much different from what we see as Reality in dramas.

To be Frank she doesn't know him at all. Who he really is, what his background is, What he actually do for living. She seems least interested in that from the very beginning. After suffering from multiple Relationship failures. I thought she will careful in her next Relationship but i know it is what it is. 🤷

At first for me. It takes some time to accept them as couple. Finally when I'm about to, they introduced his back story. I find myself losing interest in them again.
Truth to be told I'm not a big fan of Mr.gu character arc from the very beginning.

For Mijung i just wish they should have focused on character growth. Her introvert nature, Her Communication Problems, Her Insecurities, Her Relationship her with family members. Even when 4 of them together, she barely talks and share her opinions. But they focused more on her love for Mr.gu. How she misses him badly. If it a RomCom i will have zero objections but it's not.
