I have criticised esther before too. lol. i am just a multistan and I only started liking esther's acting after seeing my journey to you. ys, i find esther acting really good & natural when she did mature roles like that. some cute roles are fine too cuz i dont hate such roles completely even though I dont like to see such roles all the time. but many actresses has gotten hate when they do childish cute roles cuz some people can't stand such characters at all. esther did many such roles and hence the criticism which i understand to an extent. Similarly i am not shaming or straight up hating on jisoo, i respectfully criticised as a viewer. her role is likable tho.

( i donno why another actress has to end up being a discussion here. but whatever).

why bring actressess that are unrelated to this drama and comment? I personally like wide varieties of acting whether it is cute, mature, sexy or whatever as long as it feels more comfortable in the character & dynamic with costars. Some roles can be cringe regardless of the cast, that is another thing and i have criticised many such things as well. even jisoo is not unwatchable, that is why I said she is not overacting, but just certain dialogue and expressions looks forced.

ys, the thing is she is not overacting or anything. but the acting looks fake. some of the actions and expressions are smthg we see from most actresses and dramas. but here it looks like she is forcing it.

if i was the FL, I would have stayed single cuz of trust issues. 😂 everybody is manipulative or crazy.

zhou yiran acting is always good. so i am really waiting to see this drama. the plot seems interesting too

he do have a modern face. but it is not too bad. i feel he won't look out of place in historical dramas.
