I love Jackie Chan's movies, any genre! :) I grew up watching him, loving his unique action + comedy style!๐
The Indian Remake of this - "Hello brother" (1994) was a Smash Hit n for which the director had improved the comedy levels with nativity n few other plot changes. So it's A evergreen hit comedy forever ! :) n one of my all time favs!! :)
It is good to know that was loosely based on this, a Jackie's movie n loved this too :)
This is just a Classic, Forever Iconic!! A Good Mix of Kung fu action + comedy.
(Sometimes it's looks silly, feels like a parody to kung fu action/martial arts genre , exaggerating the stunts, mocking themselves ๐ But at the same time, serious enough!)
I don't remember how many times I had watched this movie n yet I love to rewatch this! :)
I have known Stephen Chow only as a Kung fu movie artist /director but it's good to see him in a different genre - Comedy! And top of it, this is my first time seeing him so young, almost like a goofy lover boy! :)
This is just a pleasant, easy-going and light movie with just comedy all over.
Watch this, without any expectations of emotional drama or action stunts.
Yes, I want more ๐ n it's been 3 years already, waiting ๐n Netflix removed this from its collection, so…
Nice, that's cool. If it's going to be ur first Taiwanese thriller, then watch "victim's game" first, since U liked KD "Doubt" already .. Both have the same vibe - father - daughter n some murder cases
N then "Copycat killer" (this is about hidden serial killer)
The team of assassins are hunting or being hunted!? ๐
Looks slow but not! That silent, slow vibe with that suspense is required to the plot.
I grew up watching him, loving his unique action + comedy style!๐
A Good mix of action, comedy and emotional Drama!
Very funny movie
I don't remember how many times that I had watched this movie n love to rewatch again n feel relaxed ! :)
Jackie and Louis are so young and handsome in this ;)
The lil baby boy is damn cutee!

CDramas have 20-40+ eps n I keep postponing bcz of the count of eps n so i miss good series too๐
That I feel with every crime drama - initially struggling to watch n later miss them /want more๐
I kept postponing it bcz of the no.of seasns๐
Will check the other recommendations too ๐๐ป
OmG, "voice" has 4 seasns with 16 eps๐คฏ๐ฑ.. are all seasons related or just standalone n can be watched randomly ?
Seriously, that was a major source to watch anything n everything, back then.
Nostalgic about that site now! ๐๐คง

TWIST in the end is GOOD, though can be GUESSED.
The slow process of the BONDING between Mei n Wen, is so lovely n etches a mark in ur heart! ๐ค
Baby gal is a cutie, so surprised to see her acting so well!
Pcch, disappointed !
Slow paced.
Sometimes, Manga adaptations are so good n so expected alot.
Also , time is the constraint๐
Some of dramas are of 16, 20 or 30 episodes, The count of eps scares me๐๐.
One has to give alot of time to those lengthy ones๐
(Common Troubles n struggles of us, the drama lovers! ๐ )
Meanwhile, my offline "To watch" list is piling up with 100s of
pending dramas ๐
