Okay i watch it again from ep 1 after drop it on ep 34 (fortunately, before the killing spree begin), and now i finish it... Is this one open ending? what ending is it? really😭? my emotional energy drained on ep 35 until the end🫠. From episode 35 i take notes who die in every episode, and i realize that the order appear of their (main character, and the gang) illustration in the opening (01:15 - 01:23 -- i watched on viu) is the order of their deaths😭😭
So, those anyone know what the meaning of the ending? Is the Main Lead die or not? Is Chu Yue just hallucinating😭? or it's real?? But, if it just hallucination, why Chu Yue? not A-Ying (Princess Yang Ying)? cause the one who have deep emotional attachment to main character, and the gang is A-Ying, not Chu Yue. Chu Yue just have the deep emotional attachment to Yu Shisan. So maybe Chu Yue not hallucinating🥹 I don't know lah, just tell me something..😢
what a great drama!! i love many character here, our ML, and FL is soo good, ML with his journey from a red flag to a whole green forest, and our FL, who is strong, know what her goal and really know what she want.. (i was so impressed with her reaction after realized her loved husband and their married life was all FAKE, she maybe cry but after that she collected herself and tidied her thoughts, then made a plan for her future and how to achieve her goal, NO ROOM TO PROLONG 🫡🫡🫡), and with their mutual tacit, what a wonderful couple they made. Then ML's friends (Marquis Zhennan, and the Magistrate of Beizhou) who help ML to realize that he is the one who needs FL.
And the Emperor, who would thought that their potential enemy will be the best teammate they have? and the Emperor's and our ML's last portrayed state of relation is so great (what i believe to be mutual respect(🤔?)--from the 'pour tea' scene). And the last is, my Fav Fav side character, the Empress, our wise Shi Xueji..., i never really love and get attached to any side character for so long, and BAM! Xueji came. How she can become happy from small things (food😉), how she know to positioning herself, and how she advise the Emperor indirectly (i was so impressed when she advise him to not imprisoned FL). She maybe not perfect, bu she will become strong for support the Emperor (put her heart and words into action).
And the last, this drama comedy is also hilarious😂
around episode 24 or so, after Wei Ruolai first disappointment, i thought the one that will die because their faith is Shen Tunan🧐, turn out it's Jinzhen who die...🫣 In the end, when Ruolai back to Shanghai, it will be very exciting to watch he collaborating with Shen Tunan to build Shanghai financial world again👍😎
I've wanted to watch this for a long time, but I always put it back because FL in the synopsis looks really naive and easily deceived, and there are those who say that FL has lots of man or you could say exes --I don't like it not because she had a lots of man, but because her story with her exes is in the drama-- , then there are also lots of bad comments. But because I ran out of things to watch, I finally got the courage to watch it.
It turns out that FL's feelings for every guy who is said to be her ex are not love (in my opinion), it's just that she is too loyal to her friends, and people always misunderstand that she has feelings of love because, firstly, the target of her loyalty is always a guy, and secondly, she is so loyal to her friends that she will sacrifice anything for her friends, the third is because the men always admit that they have a romantic relationship, even though it turns out the confession is only a one-sided confession🤮, FL doesn't admit it either --Except Tang Yan, because the story with him is not shown directly, there's only discussion of the story by word of mouth, so it's not known whether FL really loves Tang Yan or not, unlike the story with the crown prince which is shown directly-- ,and the fourth is because she always says she wants to find a life partner who can accompany her until she is old, so other people think that the man who is close to her must be her partner or her partner to-be.
So, in the end, who she truly love is just ML. And the way ML loves, melts my heart. He supports all FL's decisions directly and indirectly, even though he might not like it. And in the end, he said that the girl should love herself, don't always sacrifice herself for other people. It just so touching😆, cause all the man here always want to exploit FL😒.

The first one from her family who know she has boyfriend is her mother, it's actually by chance, not intentional. After that, in a few episode, her grandpa invite ML to their home, and all her cousins are all present, at first the cousins were hostile to ML, but because ML give a good impression they start to soften. As far as I remember, the cousins first response after finding out that FL was dating was only described at the time when her grandpa invite ML.
