You're being disingenuous. She was 17 when the drama started and finished filming. The booting ceremony was december…
Bottom line, in my personal opinion the critique of the show itself, the cast, and if such a young actor can replicate a great acting of her predecessor is a much more valid concern than merely her being a minor. I think it's a non issue in comparison to her ability or inability to act the character.

I understand what you are saying, and also aware of the production dates. Personally I don't see it as a big deal, because the production team waited for her to become an adult in order to initiate all the promotional activities.

It's not a big deal specifically because cdramas nowadays are really and genuinely no more than "lukewarm romance". The original Princess Agents in comparison is much more "scandalous", even if also highly censored. But even then there was zero actual intimate romance until the character grew up enough.

Also to put things in perspective, I still have a tiny problem with the whole kdrama thing of "young school girls and their oppa". Even if the school girls are already adults. I do find it a bit jarring because in many cases these characters are also being child like.

But it seems that most kdrama watchers don't have a problem with that, also because the male characters are mostly supernatural beings that are much older than the FL. It also reminds me of Buffy, and the whole love story between her and Angel when she was still in school. Not even college. There are probably more example of that in Western cinematography

The FL is going to be 19 years old in 3 months, what minor are you talking about? It's directed toward those who wrote before that they feel uneasy watching a minor acting in a romance cdrama.

She was born on 9th of July, 2007. Do the math.

Or whoever writes these comments comes from US and judges the rest of the world by the same "21 years old" standards? Sure, there are also other countries that see 19 as still a minor, but they are the minority by far.

What's wrong with 19 years old doing a "lukewarm" romance cdrama?

I can understand if she would be even less than 18, but it's quite possible that they waited with making the continuation exactly for this reason, and that's why it was made and released specifically now.

Of course you can still choose not to watch it, but please don't spread ridiculous info that she is a minor. She is a young adult by the definition of most of the world.

P.s In case you missed it in Princess Agents, or didn't watch it, according to story her character was 16 at the very beginning.
