Does the biological father know that Yining is his daughter? If yes, why did he let the child/ Yining go through so much alone and not strive to take her in and protect her?? Just on this basis, I have lost respect for him.

They are some of my favorites that I keep going back to re-watch.

I found it sad but at least there was honesty there... Can anyone spoil for me what happens between these two.... I feel like Lili was expressing her sincerity and openness but it kind of felt like a door shutting in her face. I understand that he needs to be cautious but still, I cringed a bit there😢

Nice...I think for me, the most memorable characters he played were in Arsenal military academy and SYP. I do enjoy his acting in others as well but those stood out for me😁

I hold a different opinion, while in some dramas she may have minimal skinship- there is electrifying tension to make her role as a lead believable. Take road home for example, there was plenty in that drama... her roles as a romantic lead are always spot on for me anyhow... I suppose the selling point for me is not in the skinship so much as commanding the trust in her character portrayal and building the required tension with her corresponding male lead... That sells it all for me, in all her roles. 😉

I really don't like the sister character-even when they try to redeem her, I doubt my impression of her will be swayed 😝

I feel that, that is an unnecessary redemption... I suppose it is done to give a nice wrap to the story. Somehow it never sits well with me when they execute it in dramas. Maybe I hold on to those grudges but then again, that's just me🙄

Does anyone find Shuyi's friend irritating. IMO she is always giving the worst advice... Which is rather annoying because her relationship is not doing any better either from the lack of communication and misunderstandings...

@olive4213 I share your sentiments... I stopped around 34 and so far, have lost interest in even watching the last episode. Wish there was a way of knowing who the writer was I honestly do not want to waste my efforts on his/her future projects. 😩
