I know this is based on a novel and I tried my best to get past it, but Toh's over the top creepy/stalky behaviour is too much, every scene I see with him and Nuea that is supposed to be cute/romantic is just coated in creepiness for me and I can't. I do like Nuea though.
Sky x Kao - have loved them from the first meeting and they keep me coming back to this show <3
Also Saint's character Thep was a wonderful surprise :)
I heard they banned these two actors.is that true or just rumour?
From what I have heard China banned both of them from ever acting together again but can still act with others which is why addicted heroin season 2 never went ahead. BL is only allowed to be bromance over there.
It’s the first time I comment here. There are a few things, I feel we just have to accept because it is an Asian…
I agree with you in most of these things. I personally find quite a few of the people with negative opinions about Lian/Kuea are blowing a lot of things out of proportion without full information and trying to understand where the characters are coming from. I hope all the negative posts don't put too many people off as I almost let the comments stop me from watching and I absolutely love Lian and Kuea and was expecting sooooo much worse due to them.
As for the drunken kiss here are my thoughts on why it didn't bother me too much but I can understand why it did others - Lian has been keeping his feelings for him inside while waiting so long for Kuea to be honest and real with him and he finally gets all that from him in said drunken state and can't hold back his feelings anymore as he realises they both truly feel the same for each other. But Kuea was a bit too drunk so its a bit iffy. (I have never read the manga though so that's just my take on it)
If people are reading this please just give it a try and see for yourself :) I'm not denying that there is some toxic traits in it but the fact that they realise and try to work through them is fine with me. People are flawed and I don't expect perfection, I love watching Lian and Kuea grow to be better for themselves and the sake of their love <3
Many people have said that Lian's feelings came out of nowhere but I believe he has always had them but due to him knowing Kuea was showing him a lie instead of his real self he didn't believe they were returned and thought all Kuea's I love yous were fake and that hurts him, hence why he calls him a doll and will not tell that doll his true feelings. As the grandfather said to Lian - If ever your feelings change for Kuea please end the engagement. But Lian has and is still very set on keeping the engagement, So for me that solidifies that Lian's feelings have always been there.
As for the negative opinion on the second couple I do agree and find them a bit too toxic to watch and have an issue with the lack of any progression, even with all things considered.
I feel like I keep watching because I am for some reason hoping this car crash ends well...
But in actuality it's a truck and it's crashing into more cars each episode, might even hit a bus, explode into a train or... get hit by a meteor? o.O who knows at this point.
I know this isn't a continuation of 2 moons but that's exactly what it feels like and I really just dont like or buy the whole Wayu/Pha/Thanu situation.
Thanu was obsessed with Phai and then all of a sudden - "Wayu! I've known you 5 minutes and remember that one time I helped you out, you are now my one and only!"<3 uh... okay. If I hadn't watched 2 moons I don't know, I still think I wouldn't like them but can't say for sure.
Also Pha was definitely very stupid but jeez Thanu - one of his so called best mates that he asked to look after the man he loves just gets with Wayu and doesn't really even feel bad about it o.O ay-ay-ay what a mess.
Yes I know Pha really hurt Wayu but when you find out you are dying it's not exactly something simple to deal with.
I loved Mark and Kit but they were great until they suddenly weren't... >.>
Pok and Tong are alright.
Kind of want Padbok to get with Sab and get over whatever happened with Thanu.
Feel so bad for Phai, he deserves better :(
Sandee getting revenge is fine with me, his friends fucked him over and they all acting like he's the douche bag for revealing it... smh.
The fact that I’ve woken up and immediately thought “it’s 1000 stars day” is a testament to how amazing…
Same!! Every Saturday the first thing I do is get ready to watch the new episode!! <3 and then it's torture waiting another week. I wish I could be like those people who can wait until the entire season is out but sadly... I don't have that patience :(
It feels less disturbing and more enjoyable each episode and I find myself laughing instead of cringing now.
I love how supportive and caring both friend circles are <3
