A Refreshing Watch That Leaves You Feeling Whole
It was a really good watch! I appreciated how the storyline unfolded — starting with the crime scene, then gradually painting the full picture of the events surrounding it, until everything was brought to light and justice was finally served. I LOVED the cuteness between the leads rather than heavy romance (must've screamed 'Kiyowo' at least 100 times throughout the drama), and honestly, this drama made the male lead Kim Jae-yeong shine so much more in my eyes. I’m genuinely looking forward to his future main roles now. Also, LOL — they tied this drama up so neatly that it honestly could’ve ended an episode earlier and I’d still have been fully satisfied. By the end of Episode 11, I was genuinely confused when the next episode started playing like, “What’s left?? They’ve already sorted everything.” 😭 (Bad K-trauma has truly scarred me with unresolved plots and loopholes.) So it was incredibly refreshing to see everything wrapped up properly, with no loose ends left hanging.
What I really appreciated about this drama:
- A refreshing female lead who saves the male lead, fights for justice, and carries no bitterness — not even toward her bullies.
- No cartoonishly evil characters; everyone had depth, pain, and understandable motivations, making the story feel humane and real.
- The drama didn’t torture the “good guys” excessively — there were turbulent moments, but it always allowed space to breathe. Even during investigations and public cancellations, life continued normally: she could still work, he could still move around — no unnecessary chaos or mob outrage.
- A consistently easygoing, comforting watch — never too heavy, traumatising, or exhausting. Smart pacing - whenever things got emotionally intense, the story softened the moment and restored balance.
- Exceptional casting: the leads carried every scene so naturally that there was zero cringe, even in awkward or quiet moments. Every glance up from the subtitles brought a smile — whether they were smiling, crying, thinking, or just existing, it all felt warm and sincere.
Never once felt the urge to drop the drama — no dragging, no irritation, no emotional burnout.
Overall, the drama felt genuinely refreshing from start to finish.

Super cute and enjoyable
Loved it!!!From the OST to how they captured reality was really good. The love story was also soooo cute
PLUS they had this really cool scene where they did like a '100 days my prince' crossover, I was grinning from ear-to-ear and just couldn't stop
TRULY AMAZING

Comfort Drama Found!!
As someone who’s been watching Asian dramas for nearly 15 years, I’ve never fully agreed with a drama enough to love every part of it or consider it a comfort watch worth rewatching in the future. But several times while watching this one, I found myself thinking just that.Something about the soundtrack brought me back to my childhood — it gave me a peaceful, nostalgic feeling, like watching Christmas Hallmark movies with family. The actors were perfectly cast, and the synergy and dynamics between them were spot on. The storyline flowed really well.
But what sealed it for me were the perspectives the conversations and actions took — no unnecessary dragging or bizarre misunderstandings.
I agree with other reviewers that this drama may not be for everyone, but if it even slightly aligns with your tastes, I promise you’re in for the ride of your life. In my opinion, those 14 hours were absolutely well spent!

A Brilliant, One-of-a-Kind Watch
Absolutely Beautiful!!The tears this show pulled out of me weren’t just emotional; they were the kind that come from witnessing pure generosity and the joy of making others smile. Every moment felt intentional, driven by genuine effort, sincerity, and thoughtfulness. I found myself crying, laughing uncontrollably, and even feeling that spike of nervous anticipation whenever there was a risk of everything being exposed.
It’s the kind of show that stays with you, completely rewatchable and undeniably phenomenal. I loved every second of it, especially recognising and connecting with the entire cast. It brought such a refreshing, uplifting spirit that feels rare and needed.
I’d absolutely love a Season 2! More of this heartfelt, feel-good magic, please.

Fresh & Incredibly amusing
*Undercover Miss Hong* was, above all, incredibly amusing, honestly, the best word to sum up my experience. I went into it expecting a romance, and halfway through, I found myself confused about why the storyline wasn’t developing that way, only to realise there were no romance tags at all, and surprisingly, I loved that. What really stood out was how smoothly everything unfolded, especially the slush fund plot; even in moments where it felt like things might fall apart, they somehow always worked out in such a satisfying way. The character dynamics were a huge highlight, particularly watching people gradually shift to the “good” side; it felt genuinely thrilling.Albert completely stole the show for me; his presence, acting, charm, and overall demeanour had me fully captivated, and I’m already looking forward to seeing him in other roles. Director Bang was another favourite, endearingly cowardly despite trying to act tough, and the banter between Director Cha and Miss Hong was consistently entertaining and well-balanced. Nora was brilliant too, especially towards the end when she played that tougher, deceptive role so convincingly. The drama felt very complete, nothing seemed out of place or lacking, and even emotional plot points, like the roommate’s attempted suicide, were handled in a way that ultimately felt responsible and hopeful, especially with her later growth. The humour across side characters added even more charm, and I loved the little quirks each person brought. Visually and stylistically, everything, from the outfits to the soundtrack, was on point, with the music especially being so calming that I added it to my playlist immediately.
While I rated it a 9/10, mostly because it’s not my usual rom-com sweet spot, it honestly could be a 10 on another day. My only real gripe is that President Shin didn’t get as much screen time as I expected, but even that doesn’t take away from how satisfying the overall story was.
For me, this is what I’d call a “healing drama”, not slow or escapist, but one where problems are resolved in a wholesome, rewarding way. I genuinely, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Needed a RomCom Kdrama and it barely helped
OST and Production were pretty good, loved her massive fashion upgrade from shabby to "has a hot-rich boyfriend that can spoil her"/"has her own money" switch up. I felt the main leads were too calculative and manipulative (I’m pretty used to MLs and FLs fighting evil with good but this drama felt way too different and not in the best way, I was partially siding with the evil guys till the end 😭). In all, the storyline was okay, justice was served on all fronts, and it had its place for cute romance too.Was this review helpful to you?
