I enjoyed reading this waaay more than watching the short. Thank you~ I was mortified watching it (and I am a fan of both lead actors having watched most of their work), but you make it pretty clear what went wrong. Maybe the plot was at fault but their acting was pretty stiff too- especially Ma XiaoYu's. I was waiting on him to have his puppy side showing as I think that made his worst characters (worst as in most toxic) really work for me- but here his character seemed so one dimensional. Eh
It is one of the better adaptions of this plot tho
At the end, FL has no place in lecturing SFL. She did wrong, yes, but everything that FL had accomplished in the city was handed to her by a man who wanted to get into her pants...
My girl sold out and did this kind of plot? :( it's not that she does not do minis, but usually if she does, she has a certain character she is playing but this is just... too bland, copy/paste, nothing original boring flat FL char

You need a decent milage on shorts to be able to enjoy this and as we can see in the comments, someone misdirected some poor souls that have never seen a short in their life to watch this while they wait on "When The Phone Rings" (a K drama) (Disclaimer: I love shorts! I am additected)
WHO said that this drama is a good stand-in for anyone waiting on "When the Phone Rings" a big production K-drama! Ppl will get dissapointed coming straight from that drama hhhhhhhhhh What evil mastermind is at work here
It is not a vertically filmed drama. I don't know why people say it is vertical. It 16/9 for me.
Sometimes throwing more money is all that ppl know to do XD One should tell them to hire better writers plzzzzzzz (honestly we really are in dire need of better writers!!!!)
