i honestly don't know, people say they don't want to spend too much money if they're not sure they'll get it back, there's many agencies who don't care to spend money on their artists, I think it's just another case like that:(

Me too, and that drama synopsis sounded amazing:'( I hate her agency so much, as far as it seems, only Tan Jianci is a successful actor from their agency, other than that, they are all lesser known actors... Yaoke has also just signed on two AI actors to spend money on... Apparently, she was in talks of starring in Key to the Phoenix with Neo Hou, but instead they casted a minor to play with him?? Dai Luwa is clearly not an important person to him. After her collaboration with that kpop group and Fu Ling, she is upcoming, but her company doesn't want to admit it. Her new drama looks good, but it has no known actors and won't be mainstream, I really hope she breaks out soon...I'm hoping with her drama with Ao Rui Peng, she might benefit, but we don't know when that's coming out ughhh

haha, figured! There are so many trolls these days, I do it mostly for others who use it as an excuse not to support these actresses. Smear campaigns invite hate from others that aren't trolls as well

The drama hasn't even aired yet and you are already hating on Yezi's acting skills! The dramas are the same genre, that does not believe that they are copycats of each other, and Yezi didn't write the drama, she's the actress, why are you spreading hate her way? Yezi has plenty memorable characters, she is a talented upcoming actress who is always willing to pick new roles. She has never copied anyone! Whatever similarities the dramas have with each other, it is not her fault, what about her co-star, how is it only Yezi's fault! Wait till the drama is released before you spread these rumours

I agree!! I love Zhenni's current roles but I feel she should do some mature roles as well, even an emotional drama is a great fit for her. But as a xianxia fan, removing armour/pull strings are roles I really want to see. I would also love to see her in a role like Tian Xiwei's in Pursuit of Jade/ Zhou Ye in Legend of the Female General. Zhenni would fit a pretty face-double edged sword role! Honestly I'd like to see her in various different roles that showcase her talent

I keep seeing melons of her joining Inverted Fate with Hou Minghao, I think it would be a good pairing, and would help Zhenni get more popularity, but it seems to be a controversial casting...many Neo fans are hating on the female actresses rumoured to play alongside him, it's only rumours yet people are spreading hate for no reason!! if this collaboration does happen, I hope to see Zhenni in a more mature role, as much as I love Xuanling from the Blossoming Love, Pian Ran was such a unique character, and Zhenni is too versatile to be playing the same seductive demon all the time

I only saw your message now, sorry!! On Weibo, there are plenty of melons, one for a short wuxia/xianxia "Bao Zhu" (I think) and then Ready or Not and Qin Min, other than a short republican drama, she doesn't seem to be getting any main-main roles or roles in longer projects, I know she recently voiced a cartoon character though.... Her company really doesn't want to spend money on her at all

I'm watching this drama for SZN, I know it's a male-centered drama but she also deserves the recognition!! I hope this doesn't mean she's barely in the drama itself

I agree!! Darker colours make her pop out. I saw those pictures, she is a goddess, people are always so concerned with actresses weight, they should mind their business! She still looks beautiful, I think it was just the camera angles from weibo night that made her look bad

Yes!! That dress was absolutely gorgeous and suited her so well, even at iqiyi night she wore a similar white ball gown. I really hope she's not choosing these herself, although she looks good in anything, I think in general, she fits a more mature image

The Untamed was released before censorship laws were increased, the criteria is much higher now compared to when TU released;(

Unfortunately, she is still up and coming as an actress, so not many projects will include her yet. There was rumors of her being in a drama, but apparently another actress stole the role from her. And then, because of Li Hongyi's scandal, Blossom in Darkness might not realise for a while😓 Hopefully another drama comes soon or atleast a confirmation of filming....

I have yet to watch the video in full (I'm about halfway) But I find it hard to believe a person who owns a dog which she seems to take photos often would do this. And at the end of the day, this competition was unfortunately not organised by her....
