Don't worry! I completely understand where you're coming from, I'm no stranger to defending my favourite actresses and their dramas from hate. Glad we could come to an agreement:)) Hopefully the hate dies down as the drama airs.

I do not mean to offend any fans or hate on actors, I am simply commenting on what I feel. This page is meant for friendly discussion. I did not mention any hate towards the team or actors, I simply said the first five episodes did not grab my attention as I thought they would. Everyones opinion is different and everyone is allowed to have an opinion, especially on a platform like MDL where reviews and opinions are encouraged. I am not doing this with any harm, please don't take it that way.

I'm not really interested in the main couple rn (Jiarui and Jingyi) but I'm hoping their dynamic will be revealed more and I will start to love them...but rn, I'm considering dropping this...

My mistake, what I meant was he gained more popularity from LITC. Popularity doesn't mean skill, even if he has to carry the drama, the fl can still be talented. Hopefully they will announce the FL soon so this discourse can all stop. I suppose we agree to disagree.

Thank you for explaining it to me. Although I see where you are coming from, I still don't agree with people hating on actresses purely because their favourite male actor will suffer. I also prefer equal screen time, but at the same time, if there isn't equal screen time, it is not the actresses fault, they shouldn't take the blame for this. Although Neo has become more popular, many still consider him up and coming, so if he is paired with lesser known actresses, that's why. Unfortunately, it is not an easy solution as either way, someone will get hate spread their way, however I don't believe it's right to hate on actresses purely because of rumours, especially if it's unreliable melons, such as the camping against He Nan because of this drama. I hope it will be resolved soon.

I agree!! it may be hard to change agencies now, but I hope it is an option for her....

i honestly don't know, people say they don't want to spend too much money if they're not sure they'll get it back, there's many agencies who don't care to spend money on their artists, I think it's just another case like that:(

Me too, and that drama synopsis sounded amazing:'( I hate her agency so much, as far as it seems, only Tan Jianci is a successful actor from their agency, other than that, they are all lesser known actors... Yaoke has also just signed on two AI actors to spend money on... Apparently, she was in talks of starring in Key to the Phoenix with Neo Hou, but instead they casted a minor to play with him?? Dai Luwa is clearly not an important person to him. After her collaboration with that kpop group and Fu Ling, she is upcoming, but her company doesn't want to admit it. Her new drama looks good, but it has no known actors and won't be mainstream, I really hope she breaks out soon...I'm hoping with her drama with Ao Rui Peng, she might benefit, but we don't know when that's coming out ughhh

The drama hasn't even aired yet and you are already hating on Yezi's acting skills! The dramas are the same genre, that does not believe that they are copycats of each other, and Yezi didn't write the drama, she's the actress, why are you spreading hate her way? Yezi has plenty memorable characters, she is a talented upcoming actress who is always willing to pick new roles. She has never copied anyone! Whatever similarities the dramas have with each other, it is not her fault, what about her co-star, how is it only Yezi's fault! Wait till the drama is released before you spread these rumours

I agree!! I love Zhenni's current roles but I feel she should do some mature roles as well, even an emotional drama is a great fit for her. But as a xianxia fan, removing armour/pull strings are roles I really want to see. I would also love to see her in a role like Tian Xiwei's in Pursuit of Jade/ Zhou Ye in Legend of the Female General. Zhenni would fit a pretty face-double edged sword role! Honestly I'd like to see her in various different roles that showcase her talent

I really hope Zhenni can be casted, she will be so amazing😆
