Even if it's acting, movies are very good at making us relate and feel all kinds of emotions and it's only normal to feel the hopelessness that a character might feel.

I get it that you're trying to be realistic, but tbh It was very uncomfortable for me to watch that scene and, I would have appreciated a tw before watching the movie
