Running Man is usually my first go-to when I get drama burnout. I just have to make sure I'm already lying down when I watch because I laugh too hard to stay upright, even sitting!

Person Lyan Cheng
she's cute, but her "acting skills" in fabulous boys... omg, lot of grimaces and pouty lips... :-( she…
I kind of expected the grimaces and pouty lips. Look at Park Shin Hye in the korean version of it. She did pretty well for me.

am I the one who didn't like master sun + I hear your voice that much :)
I had a very hard time getting into Master's Sun... I wound up dropping it, in all honesty.. I couldn't seem to generate enough of an interest to keep watching. To each their own, I guess.

I know one thing for sure that the most overrated and garbage drama of 2013 is heirs,i bet if LMH wasn't in that…
Same here, but I started for PSH and LMH... Ended up staying because of the very unrealistic fantasy (and desperate plea to the drama gods) that Woo Bin would get the girl. Did NOT expect to wind up staying because of the second male lead!!!

If you need some Japanese ones let me know. I can't guarantee your tastes are the same as mine but I have some that I definitely enjoy watching.

Never said there wasn't bias. If you're really looking for more than just korean dramas, try Bull Fighting, Meteor Garden, Sunny Happiness, It Started With A Kiss, Devil Beside You, Hanazakarino Kimitachihe, or MARS. Those are not Korean.

Love Buffet (#6) is a Taiwanese drama, not Korean.

This article is so much win I can't even... One thing though. Everyone always assumes The Wrist Grab is a possession…
I know, right? I love how polite they are and how everything seems to revolve heavily around respect. It's something you don't really see in the west.

Really now? Well then, go manners. It just seems like a possessive move for those who aren't accustomed to seeing it, I suppose. Well then...

I love the wrist grab, anyway. It's probably my favorite, which is why it's first. I get all fangirl squealish every time I see it in a drama.

wrist grab - dumbest thing ever to show you care lol collision course - another dumb thing (both are cliches)…
Well, like I said. This was meant to be humorous about the cliched moves we see. I find some of them just as annoying as the next person, but the fact is they happen all the time in drams. Who gives a crap if they happen in real life? Dramas are fictional. Half if not most of the stuff that happens in them is never going to happen in reality.

I think that the best now is That Winter, the wind blows: they do the piggyback ride and they are faintings and…
Aw shoot I can't believe I forgot about that one! And You're Beautiful is one of my faves! I cried like crazy in that scene! Dang it again! Argh!

And unfortunately, the cliches are what most fans love the most about dramas. Not everyone loves the cliches and fairy tale aspects, but not everyone is interested in the darker, realistic aspects either. I chose to make light of the cliches. Everyone's entitled to their own preferences and beliefs, though.

The whole point of television shows, especially watching asian dramas, is to allow our minds an escape to a world where chivalry isn't dead yet. Kdramas are perfect for that, love cliches and all, because even at their most annoying points, they still provide us a comedic look at love in its less realistic form. It's like reading fairy tales. We know they can't actually happen, but we love them just the same. We just have to remember the difference between fantasy and reality, that's all.

I don't seem to watch enough of them. :P I'll have to watch some more. I seem to be an addict for kdramas rather than jdramas.

The picture with the piggyback is from a Taiwanese drama called Love Buffet. I watched it on Viki.com, so you can try there if you want.
