If you're delayed in watching, just don't read comments and reviews. It's what I do if I'm delayed. ^_^If I do…
The idea of a week or so's delay made sense back in the days when shows aired on traditional TV. Once it had aired, you'd either seen it or you hadn't, except for the lucky few who could afford a video recorder and had postponed watching for some reason. Most of those would usually try to watch before the next episode aired in a week's time, so they didn't end up watching things out of order.

Nowadays, there are different ways of watching. Some are prepared to accept the agony of a weekly wait for their next fix. Others, like myself usually, prefer to wait until the whole season has aired, so they can binge-watch the things they like. What's great is to discover a drama that has already completely aired. so you can binge-watch the whole thing. straight away.

So the notion that within a week those who are going to watch it will have no longer holds true. Indeed, many people specifically use others' comments to help them to decide whether or not to start watching something.

So, regardless of when it's written, if a comment reveals a plot point it should be marked as a spoiler. If it isn't, the writer is being discourteous and thoughtless, or arrogant because they think that what they have to say is more important than other people's enjoyment.
This is a test to see if we can mark just part of a comment as a spoiler. If you're seeing this, rather than the 'Spoiler' alert, it didn't work. :-(
Of course, deciding what is and what isn't a spoiler isn't always easy. I'd consider "I really HATE character X" isn't a spoiler, whereas "Isn't it great that character X got killed off" is. If in doubt, as a courtesy to others mark it as a spoiler, or rephrase it so it obviously isn't, or just don't write it!

[BTW, I consider comments and reviews two totally separate things. Reviews are (should be!) far more likely to contain spoilers and you read them at your own risk, though many reviewers are kind enough to warn about spoiler sections before you actually come to them.]

I really don't understand. "Vincenzo", "Reborn Rich" and "Descendants of the Sun" are all high on this list. How can ANY show that presents an opportunity to watch Song Joong-Ki be considered "disappointing"?

Can I just thank everyone for remembering to wrap stuff in Spoiler alerts? :-)

I'm halfway through Ep. 9, and came here just to check how many episodes are left. Ended up starting to read the comments, until suddenly realising "What am I doing? What am I doing???".

If the non-spoiler comments are anything to go by, I have an episode-and-a-half of total enjoyment in front of me tonight ... then agony for a week waiting for the last two to air!

Rats! This list has depressed me a bit! I eagerly add just about every LGBTQ+ show I come across that sounds even vaguely interesting to my Watch List. There's already a huge gap between "Watched" and "Plan to Watch". Now I find there are more than eighteen-hundred of them??? I won't live that long! :-( ... Many thanks though. I'll tick off as many as I can in the time I have left. :-)

Oh well. Guess I should stop writing, and start watching.

voting lists like these should always have some rules like atleast 40-50k watchers and 8.5+ rating
Aww, bless you for believing that voters here would take ANY notice of rules / guidelines when voting.

I've not yet seen Xiao Zhan top a voting list for "Best Korean Actress Under 30yo" ... but give it time!

It's even worse on tiktok lol. I feel bad for anyone who haven't begun watching the show and see the comments…
And kinda thoughtless that here three of the four comments in this thread aren't wrapped in a spoiler alert, when it's so easy to do so. :-(

I wonder if the user who has rated every episode 10/10, including those that haven't even aired yet, has the power to see the future or has invented a time machine. If the latter, it would be great if he/she would share the discovery with the rest of the world.

Hmmm. Nah. I'm all for not padding out a story unnecessarily, but this felt just a bit too crammed into the time available. Consequently, characters weren't really developed enough to justify why they did / said what they did. Can totally understand why Jin-Teng got obsessed with Yi-Chen though. Soooo cute. :-)

I really wish I had a friend like Meng Meng. I'd love to tell her what an interfering moron she is, right before saying I never wanted to see her again.

I suspect there are some idiots out there who think what she did was OK, because 'it all worked out in the end". Wrong!

Well when people have low reading comprehension..
Actually, it's when people have HIGH reading comprehension / knowledge of English. The word "Actor" is NOT gender specific, even though it's mostly used to signify a male. When talking about a cast of mixed gender, you would say "all of the actors performed well". You wouldn't say "all of the actors and actresses performed well". You could ... but most people wouldn't (where English is their first language, at least). You can, quite correctly, call a female practitioner of the art an 'actor' in English. You can't, though, call a male practitioner an 'actress'. Well, you can, but he'd probably hit you.

Person Song Joong Ki
Need an updated photo! He's more handsome as EVER in 2023!! I heard there's a Vincenzo S2 coming! (9/5/23) ??
Nooooo. I spent a fortune trying to get a 'Vincenzo' lighter where the logo didn't rub off after just a few days. If there's a season 2, I'm sure I'll just start trying again!

The ratings doesn't decide if the drama is great, or not. There are dramas that deserve this way way more...
According to the above, "Reborn Rich" ("RR") was evaluated against 265 other dramas - which may well have included the ones you allude to. A panel of experts chose "Reborn Rich" as most deserving. There is a reference to the ratings RR achieved, but no suggestion that this was even a factor in that decision, let alone a primary one. So, your suggestion that ratings resulted in this decision seems unfounded. And, no, there are unlikely to be dramas more deserving, when viewed dispassionately and professionally. Any that even remotely stood a chance would have been evaluated and considered inferior overall ... by industry experts who it's reasonable to assume know what they're talking about.

"Overrated" (adjective): Given an undue amount of credit for quality or merit in a field; not necessarily related to popularity. (Source: Wiktionary).

So .... not "BAD". There's no conflict in feeling someone is a pretty good actor, yet overrated by others.

Also, this poll is "who do you think is...." not "Who is...". The difference is subtle but there is one. It's subjective and there are no 'wrong' answers. There's nothing wrong with, or negative about , @UrLocalGranny putting this poll up. What is perhaps questionable is the lack of understanding and / or motives underlying some of the voting and some of the comments.

It's a pity that voters don't need to share their reason(s) at the time of voting. Also, that we can't also down-vote. I suspect that many of the actors/actresses here would soon disappear from the list if those who believe they're not overrated could demonstrate their support that way, rather than by simply commenting.

Jisoo on top 4 Bro she just acted in one project 💀
Isn't that kinda the point? She's had one main acting role. I'd argue that's too few to judge how good she is. If some people who watched her rant about how amazingly good she is, it seems reasonable for others to consider that - at this stage in her career - she's being overrated. Remember, 'overrated' does NOT mean bad, simply that their skills seem to be rated considerably higher by many than is warranted.

Perhaps we should keep in mind that this list is of actors who people think are "overrated". That doesn't necessarily mean they're bad. Personally, I think that Song Joon Ki has been pretty much perfect in everything I've seen him in, and I'm guessing by his popularity elsewhere I'm not alone in this. However, as no-one is actually "perfect", it's possible that I overrate him. I'll grudingly concede that I might be wrong in thinking he's 99.99% perfect, when in reality it's only 99.91%.

Would be great, though, if we could see who has voted for what. It would be interesting to challenge some people to justify their choice, rather than letting them hide behind anonymity.
