But as the episodes went on… I slowly started falling for Naksu.
Her chemistry with the male lead grew on me more than I expected, and they actually made a really beautiful and mature couple. 🥹
It was a different kind of love, calmer but still strong.
That said… nothing, and I mean NOTHING, will ever replace the couple from season 1 in my heart.
They were iconic. Their connection, the tension, the longing — it was magical and unforgettable. They’ll always be my Alchemy of Souls couple. 💘
So yes, season 2 was great in its own way and delivered a lovely conclusion…
But season 1? That was lightning in a bottle!!!

The drama that changed my entire taste!!
I was never into historical dramas… until I watched Alchemy of Souls.I honestly don’t even know where to start because EVERYTHING about this drama was perfect to me.
The chemistry between the leads?? Unmatched. 😭💘 Every single scene between them had me either smiling like an idiot or holding my breath. Their connection felt so real and powerful.
And the plot progression?? Insane. The way everything was connected, the little details, the twists — it was all so smart and satisfying to watch. I was never bored, not for a second.
I kept thinking “okay, maybe next episode will slow down a bit,” but nope — it just kept getting better and more intense!
And the acting?? Phenomenal. Each character was well-written and perfectly portrayed, but the main leads? Next level. 👑
This officially became my favorite historical fantasy, and I honestly don’t think any other one can top it in my heart 💔
