Yes, it is disheartening but even the most iconic kdrama aka Jewel in the palace, didn't have a rating more that 9 in mdl, even lower than TTEOTM. It's shocking to me. I still believe that TTJ is still alive in the drama. Because, even though he was ascending as new 'god', he is still a demon god. In that world, a god can't reincarnate after the death comes but demon god still can. So, as long as there are sins in all the world, he will be able to comeback. It's ironically a blessing in disguise. He is half god, half demon god. The most powerful being. That's why the ending timeline is 500 years, not 1k years like in the novel. That's why there is still 500 years more to come for his soul to be complete and reborn again.

They said that Otter (TTEOTM production house) and Youku have a beef with BL. Other things like BL shouldn't take part of TTEOTM team from the start because it's ruining her and the production team just use BL reputation for drama's popularity, etc that I won't bother to write it. They are so much negativity in them. There is a possibility that they are also spreading hoax like they said LSS as the top 1 fans favorites. I'm like ehhhhhhh..... I read before it's TTJ most of the times though 😅
Before, I read somewhere that some chinese fanatic fans are beyond words and they will make their favorites artist can't collab with each other because of their own selfish stupid obsessions. And about how they will bring down the drama their favorite in it just because the akgaes didn't like the opposite lead artist. Not because of the story or quality of the drama, but because of artist collaboration. That's insane. I couldn't believe it back then. But, I do now. I feel like those akgaes will need more therapies than us 🤣
It's been several days already but I can't move on from this drama yet. Why 😭 I couldn't watch any drama right now because my mind and my heart still can't let go TTEOTM. Maybe because the final was so heartbreaking. I keep thinking it over and over. The last time I felt like this is when I watched the final of Empress Ki. I was going crazy to download all the main characters mv/fmv. It's been years ago. Even Tan Tai Jin is like emperor Ta Hwan in term of being betrayed by all sides 💔 Back then I still could watch any drama just fine. But, it's different with TTEOTM. I'm still sad 😢 The final was really impactful. When I think it again, it's really the best ending for overall story. TTJ's all life was being manipulated by ADG. Except his decision to safe all realms. He saved his dear lover, his light. In the end, it's his own choice to rewrite his fate. His sacrificed against ADG's script is what make him his own individual, his own self. Not devil fetus, not devil reincarnation, not demon, not monster, just Tan Tai Jin. Gosh, I feel sad again 😭😭😭😭😭

That's really disrepectful to the hardworking production team and even all the actors. I would stay away from some dramas I dislike rather than gave worst rating and hateful speech. It's for my sanity. The production team must be in regret right now on why they didn't divide the drama as 2 seasons. But, how come they know, how come we as fans know that TTEOTM will become one of the most legendary-kind of drama. One thing they absolutely knew, it's big money to loose if they took the risk. I bet you, they're in depression state right now.
This drama is amazing. It's not even choppy editing I guess. They saved so many scenes, many important scenes but with this time restriction, they couldn't show it to us. For example, like when TTJ and LSS came to Jing kingdom. There was this scene they met YQY as a double who ruled the kingdom for the last 500 years in place of TTJ. So, many people got confused on why YQY wore the mask, why his hair become white. It's a shame that many elements couldn't be shown to us. There are a lot of restrictions here. Time restriction (lesser than an hour per episode). Episode restriction (lesser than 40 episodes per season). Interval restriction (I heard that there is 6 months gap between seasons). If drama with higher budget, they can't take the risk to loose all money they pour to divide all episodes into seasons. The lost interest and hybe for everyone will bring them in bankruptcy. I blame their government for these stupid rules. In the end of the year, there is a possibility that c-government will change their own rules like usual case. It's really a shame.
I wish in the near future, we will get what we deserve for happy ending like in the novel and the leaked script. So guys, I know we all really sad about the ending but please don't give any injustice rating like 1 star to this drama.
