I'm not biased because i don't like kpop, but i think that Seohyun is good in this, I said to myself throughout…
True <3 i'm pretty sensitive when it comes to bad acting, esp with my biases, so i was actually REALLY surprised to see Seohyun's in this -she improved so much! I've only seen some of her acting in previous dramas but just comparing her now to before, there's definitely been some good changes
Don't know if i'm being biased cuz of Seohyun , but I actually really like this drama? The pace, the acting, and…
And omg that ending tho! definitely had an inkling that something like that would happen from the trailers but they still got me like :O its a pity tho eun and jung wan were really cute AND PLS GIMME MORE OF THE PARTNER IN CRIME SECOND LEADS! The charisma they exude is just on another level, feels like they might even outshine the leads
Don't know if i'm being biased cuz of Seohyun , but I actually really like this drama? The pace, the acting, and the characters all seem to be my style :) Though i will admit the 2 eps we got it didn't seem exceptional but it lays out a good foundation for the next eps and i'm only looking forward to all there is to come! AND the second leads tho...they seem so cool and i have a crush on both of em xD
At the start I was a little weary since it somehow seemed like all the scenes were rushed together but as it progressed and they started showing more of the patients, the friendship between the 5 doctors and all the humor and feels the drama already got me INVESTED.
The best part was definitely of the chemistry between the 5 doctors they genuinely seemed like such long time friends and all that banter was so entertaining to watch. But the highlights were Jo Jeong seok in that helmet and and Yoo Yeon seok neing such a softie ( ugh i just wanted to give him a hug throughout the ep) and his family's introduction lol. Also man was I glad there's no 'evil guy' or politics involved for now :)
It's really such a pity that we have to wait one week to get the next ep but I guess I'm just going to have to rewatch this one until the. Seriously hoping that the show does well in Korea too *fingers crossed*
Yess the wait is almost over, this airs today! Also after seeing Jung Kyung Ho in Cruel City I am so looking forward to seeing him in something lighter :)
Thats what my initial thought too but when i think about GS, theres some psychological thing happening. For someone…
yeah that's a pretty good interpretation, but as I said before I'm a little biased towards him since he's the character I feel bad for the most. I guess I just wanted the drama itself to outright provide a clearer reasoning for his change rather than viewers trying to break our heads over it. Anyway we do have the next ep where Yi seo confronts Geun soo so I'm hoping to get a proper answer from him then
This whole turning Geun Soo into the bad guy really isn't sitting well with me. First and foremost I don't really get why he wants to takeover Jangga in the first place. To win over Yi-seo? The girl's rejected him over and over again, and just by the fact that she even once wanted to fire him, it should be more than enough for a clear NO signal.
I have absolutely why the writer decided to suddenly turn him into this jerk with no empathy when right from the start it was clear that he was one of the most reasonable characters. The whole thing with outing Hyun yi and then going on to say that she's one of his dear friends like whaaat? the writing really fell short here....I heard in the webtoon before leaving Danbam Geun Soo bowed to Sae royi and then left, becoming evil or whatever only after the 7 year timeslip -this would have been way better in explaining his current stance :/
yeah i'm bitter because the boy really was my favourite character until now and believe me or not I even shed a tear when Yi-seo wanted to fire him and then went on to the rejection cuz I felt so bad for him. But the lack of a proper reasoning behind this gets on my nerves a lot more
Omg can't wait to see Lee Hana on screen again! Also I really love Kim Sung Gyu too so it would be amazing if those two actually have a love line in the drama *fingers crossed* ^^
Anyhow this drama is sort of a testimony to my sheer dislike for love triangles. The trope just brings out the worst in characters. I mean just look at Geun soo, the boy was my favourite character because no matter how badly his own family and Yi Seo treated him it seemed like he had a good control over his emotions and didn’t let it affect his relationship with Sae Ro yi and Danbam , but right now it looks like he’s all set towards being the next Jang Geun won at this rate. And with Yi Seo’s confession, I think it was a pretty good thing that she got rejected here, for someone like her who’s so used to wining and getting what she wants this might humble her down a little bit and reflect on her actions, Idk maybe about the way she’s treated Geun soo for instance? Oh and Hyun yi was so freaking gorgeous this episode, and it looks like she might even have a love interest pretty soon ^^
Tbh as the weeks go by, I’m becoming a lot less invested in this show than I first was. Not sure if it’s because the progression is slow, or if it’s because Park Sae Ro Yi as a character is pretty predictable or if it’s all this mess with the love triangles. Anyway I’ just holding on for my two FLs -both of them who I have a love hate relationship with (but that’s the selling point of this drama for me tbh) and Geun Soo.
I'm not gonna lie this was highly entertaining, yes it had it's loose ends but each ep managed to keep me at the edge of my seat throughout so i think I can forgive those flaws
oh and I better start making a list of "Top 10 Most Pitiful Characters" cuz there's no argument that my boy Wan Soo won't be getting first place there....
Finished this one in two days and i've got 2 questions:
HOLY SHIT WHAT WAS THAT AND HOW DO I GO BACK IN TIME TO WATCH IT ALL OVER AGAIN?!?!
After Sky Castle didn't think there would be a drama out there so unique to catch me off guard and make me fall so head over heels for it, but Kazoku Game has done it and made it all the way to the top of my favs list
And yes I need more of Sho Sakurai in my life! esp in dark roles like this, his portrayal of Yoshimoto Kouya was A+++
Watching the first episode. It has lots of information from the get go, and given that I am not good with names,…
Same here since i'm not familiar with Korean history, but my understanding of it got a lot better by the 2nd ep and it was pretty easy to follow then onwards
To anyone who's seeing this, is the show good enough for me to ignore the FL's bad acting? Asking cuz i really wanna watch for JJH, but if the drama is as bad i wouldn't mind passing it.
I’m on episode 3 and I have to say that though I honestly love Nam goong min I’m not sure If his acting style suits his role here. He’s usually a perfect fit for roles like that of a wacko or a psychopath such as in Chief Kim and Remember, but I don’t think there’s a need for the ML to be as eccentric NGM portrays him to be here...
Also the pace of the drama is too fast...if they want the viewers to root for the main characters go after villains as revenge for what they’ve done to them, we need to actually feel for the characters and their backstory which is impossible if the drama paces at this rate....I wanna complete watching this because of the journalism aspect but it just seems like a task at this point :/
Did you perhaps skip some scenes? You must have missed this somehow. Ji Heon explained it himself why he slept…
Your right he was in the bathtub in the first ep too so from the start itself I’d thought something did happen to him...but idk nothin was really explained in that area:/

i see..but honestly i didn't think much of that explanation at the time because in the description of the drama it was written that he had a troubled past so i naturally connected that somehow with why he was sleeping in the bathtub , also since the drama that i mentioned above, 'Its okay, thats' love also had the ML sleep in a bathtub due to his traumatic experience, so that's probably why. Also that scen e where he was saying to min ha jung that his mother used to actually hit him with 'rod of love' thing
