Overall a good drama. Deserve more rating than this. It is a bit hard to watch in the beginning and hardest to watch in the middle but the last six episodes is really the best in this drama. I am happy that Giew finds her true partner in the end. I am really sad that she did not get anything from all this pregnancy drama but the drama gives her justice and let her meet with her true partner. She is not alone anymore and have a young handsome partner in the end :S
(I havent watch the japanese version. All the bad review turn me off completely) Why is the rating so high? Out of all the remakes of this series, this is the second worst. I will not rate the original because the original will always be the best. Out of the remakes, the korean one is the best although i love the beginning of this chinese remake, overall, the korean remake is better.
I am the type who watch dramas with feeling recently rather than brain (because most romance dramas in recent years are full of stupidity). This is how i measure if there is chemistry between the lead or not. The only way to get me love romance dramas in recent years is through chemistry.
Sadly, i dont feel much chemistry between the leads. If everyone says they kiss a lot or passionate kiss = chemistry, i disagree. To me, chemistry is all about feeling and i dont feel that between the leads. The recent drama where i feel immense chemistry between the leads for cdrama are Be With You and Perfect and Casual. The others are not much.
Moreover, the female lead in this remake is the worse out of all the remakes i have seen. Jang Nara's version easily topped the other versions. This remake's female lead... Her acting is a bit off. I dont know about acting and as i said earlier, i watch with feelings and... i cannot feel her acting. I cannot feel the pushover, the innocence of the FL. I thought i would feel it better in later episodes but nope. (Sorry to her fan)
Especially the part where she lose her baby... I was sobbing when watching the other remakes but i dont feel much in this version. I really want to cry during this part but i cannot in this version. I got teary eyes but not to the point of sobbing.
I remember watching the korean version and i was crying super hard especially when Jang Nara bawling asking about gaeddongi ;(. Sigh~ that is a good memory. I need to held myself a lot too because i dont want to disturb my roommate (btw, i am a guy and it is embarrassing crying like that :P)
The male lead is luckily a bit better than the female lead in this remake. Acting wise, Ethan Ruan, Jang Hyuk and Bie is above him but comparing him inside the cdrama remake, he is better than the female lead. I can feel him a bit more than the female lead (and i am not even his fan and i dislike him too but i should acknowledge what i feel truthfully)
Also, that last 10 episodes was super draggy and unnecessary. Fill with stupidity and super boring. Rushed ending! Even the ending is unsatisfactory too because they spend time on stupid and draggy filler!
Gah!!! This is frustrating! Storywise, I like this version's beginning the most and i saw a lot of potential for this to have better story than the other versions but they ruin it!

I guess because i dont expect much from this show i like it a lot compare to all the overhype dramas. Also, those that expect realistic from a drama... I dont know what to say. It is a freaking drama. Why expecting something realistic from a drama? Seriously, you watch drama because it is not realistic.

Viewers nowadays is too genius. They dislike watching normal drama like this. All they want is something new, badass female lead, character making smart choices, relatable, must be similar to normal life. This is all basically what i saw from many comments in many dramas. Ah, dont forget they want many kissing scenes too.

Its been a while since i watch drama and more interested with this part than the beginning lol. Too many contract relationship drama that i dont care much about it because all the same.

Kissing, hugging etc is just the scene. Having many of those do not count as chemistry. I cannot really explain it because i will know if the characters have chemistry by feeling not by those kissiong scenes.

I have watch many dramas where people said the chemistry is high. I try watching the dramas and most of them is so-so. Not like they have zero chemistry but just not enough to consider high. When i get back to comment i found out it is all because of many kiss scene.

Both are adults. No need to make that an issue. I see in the west (on tv) that there are many real life couples with big age gap? A grandpa and 20s girl and many more if i am not mistaken. So, no need to mind that much when both are of legal age. If it is me, i dont mind this so much because the male lead look like a man. I got tired of those 'sissy' looking male lead. Just an opinion.
Seriously, people needs to stop comparing this drama with those Mon-Tue, Wed-Thurs, Fri-Sat and Sat-Sun dramas. This drama is a daily drama. The production is not as high as those 16 to 20 epi dramas. You need to compare it to other daily drama. Try watching many other 100++ episodes kdrama and you can compare them to this one. Believe me,this one is super good. If you watch other 100++ episodes drama (especially the recent one) you will want to throw something at the tv. You will want to rip your hair. If you are stressful, your stress level will increase immediately. That is how frustrating daily kdrama (100++ epi kdrama). Once you compare with the right drama, you will see this drama is a gem.

Is there any drama you can recommend where when the lead find out they have terminal illness but they did not leave each other and instead stay together to fight the illness till the end? I dont want the drama where the illness is the focus of the story (for example - scent of a woman) i want something like this drama where all is happy at the beginning but when they find out the illness, they stick together and there is no stupid decision like "i dont want you to live a hard life so lets break up" thingy.
