Cinematography is beautiful. Main actor acting is okay.
But sadly that’s all… If you really want to enjoy this story and understand how the teacher mind works and why he did what he did with some actual context, read the book lol.
Just one question.. Why did Babylon suddenly wanted to take Jinman business after all those years? Did they discovered it was him after Jian “friend” hacked the account?
And why Bale waited all those years too? (I think we will have answer about what happened between him and Jinman in season 2)
Big TW for this one. I’m a fan of horror and can watch almost anything. But you’ll saw a really graphic and disturbing r*pe scene in this one. Letting you know as it can be quite a shocking sequence…
As a piece of entertainment, it is more than decent. But it is unsatisfactory in the messages it is trying to…
Thank you!🙏 Especially the part about depression and mental illness. As someone suffering from one actually, I only felt judged and like I had no wright to suffer (sorry but we don’t choose that..)
Really good movie! If you want to watch an excellent trilogy on the same subject, try Infernal Affairs (there’s also an American adaptation who’s incredible too!) 😉
I'm utterly devastated.(+1000 for Wayne Song acting, especially for this ep)
It's a sad ending yes, but absolutely not a bad one for me. I'm not even disappointed, just really sad. What I truly loved about this show is the rollercoaster of emotions it brings us through. Of discovering yourself, living your first love, a strong family with their daily up and down, the loss and the grieving..A good drama with good newbies actors, about the innocence of love and how cruel life can be. My favorite History so far, but well I've always been more touched by bittersweet ending lol.
