Yes, it’s sad because I didnt expect to see someone say this. There are a lot of actors/ actresses who others think is gorgeous or good looking. You will never find me saying anything about their looks. I focus on acting. I do get some people like good looking people but Cheng Yi isn’t just a pretty face he can back it up with acting chops. To each their own and I meant no disrespect but I just felt like talking about someone looks shouldn’t be a discussion when talking about this drama.

Okay we get some things can or could be better but please refrain from name calling actors looks etc. If this drama isn’t for you then that’s okay. No need to crap on the actors and the hard work they put into this drama. Also fans of other actors should skip passed this drama if you’re only here to cause drama. The drama spite negativiy is doing way better than expected. Everyday on Weibo Cheng Yi and this drama is trending. I’m enjoying it so far spite some of the issues it’s having. Again if it’s not for you that’s okay if you feel it’s not. No need to stay. Unless you feel the need to give it another try and if so go for it. But if you’re here to bash than please do it else where.

wow this is uncalled for. you can not like a actors presence without saying he looks bad etc. He’s actually a really good actor. Even if you can’t see it doesn’t mean you’re right in your opinion. His works and awards speak for himself. This role is sadly not producing what many of us know of him to be. But attacking actors looks is low.

Yes it is good. I actually am one of those people who hope for such. I love costume dramas but at times it becomes stagnant. Take YZ she is called historical puppet drama queen. Because she respects her Chinese culture and roots and wants to showcase every aspect and dynasty of China. I don’t mind it but it does become stagnant when it’s done much. Which is why I’m glad she took on Born to be alive. If PXR takes on a role such as that I know she will gained more roles and have the option of choosing her own scripts. Lately seems like more 90’s flowers are trying to follow YZ path with taking on serious roles more. I like to see PXR in more roles Unshakable faith was pretty good for PXR. Even though it was republican it’s still a serious role. I wanna see her take on more of these but at her own pace. if makes sense.
