Same. I think both will I also think her main role in the Tencent drama will showcase more of her talent. As it’s already being praised by some leak behind the scenes videos. She’s doing a really good job. Also the other day she won against the slanderous lies that the anti fans / media made about her. Same post that last black sunspot person posted on WOF because people didn’t like Zhong / Bao. So I’m happy for that as well. Another win for her now people can leave her alone an stop accusing her of such ill.

I’m seeing it’s now Dai luwa who is fl lead. it’ll be nice if jelly I need a new break out role. WOF has helped but due to cut scenes people couldn’t fully see her range.

Same. I think people are being too harsh on those of us who have dropped this or placed it on hold. I’ve dropped it but I can always change it back to currently watching once I’ve think it’s picked up a bit. All in all, the writing is the issue and the way things flow so quickly. I’m still rooting for this drama and the actors. As they have so much potential.

I actually loved her Jun Jiu Ling. I’m currently rewatching it on Viki. I hope she does some modern drama since we never got the one with Elvis 🥹I feel like a mature modern role will also help. I just checked and she’s still trending on HS Weibo for her performance in this drama. Which isn’t the problem for me. It’s just the writing. So there’s that which I’m happy she’s still showing everyone she’s a talented actress.

I appreciate this. Because a lot of people on here have been trying to police others opinions on this topic about the drama. I can only hope that drama will be perfect. I believe it will be as IQYI rarely disappoints me.

Definitely. I want people to understand just because we’re not enjoying this drama doesn’t make us less fans of the actors involved. Because many have been trying to downplay people’s opinions/ feelings as if we’re not smart enough to grasp this drama. This drama isn’t anything new the writing is the same as other dramas. The only thing is different is the Cp pairing. Which has a lot of potential but sadly that’s not enough for me to keep going forward. I’ll come back once more episodes have released and reviews is getting better. As of now I can’t root for either character. Not the FL nor the ML. I can only root for the scenery and the ost because that’s the only saving grace for me.

It’s in the top 5 wetv hot list so it shows its doing well in China. I actually like it. But I’m not familiar with the Fl acting so it’s kinda hard for me but she’s starting to grow on me.

No it’s actually because of that drama. I loved the CP and how good friends they are in real life. Both agreed when the time is right they would love to do another drama together. fingers crossed 😭😫

I tried. I don’t think I can make it to twenty. I’m so disappointed 😔 I’ve waited so long for this pairing and drama. The chemistry is kinda there but it’s the writing for me. The same ole tale storyline. I hate to say it but omg SJFY was way better than this. 😭 That says a lot since both were produced by youku and both had chopped scenes etc. Albeit, SJFY had it worse with deleted scenes etc still was a better storyline than this. I’m happy for those who’s enjoying this drama I wish you all the best. As for now I’m dropping this. Might pick back up once I gaged what Weibo has to say. Wishing Allen and Peng success with this work. I know it’s not their fault. Just writing and directing.

well that’s good to hear. I only ask because I noticed some of her up coming dramas is Iqyi. I missed her Tencent dramas so glad she’s doing another one. I hope her character breaks out so she can receive more roles.

really? that sucks hope you’ll be able to be done with that drama. I’m only giving it to 20 Becuase I feel like something might’ve happened that can up the drama pressure for me. I hope if not, I’ll put it on hope. As there’s a few dramas coming out this week that has my eyes.
