it is the funny to see people freak out over the small misunderstood and the slow burn romance. this was all covered in day 1. if can’t get through this how can get through other famous long dramas. like story of mingling and other dramas where leads not end up until finale episode. it is good China and oversea fans love it. if not some would think mdl rate is correct. the people who rate it 0.5 or lower or not all. is not fan of story. it is more than just love story. it says that. this is women story about how women be treated in tang dynasty back then. romance is second thought. many felt way with BCE but again was woman to age family drama. but I know it not for everyone but to say it is doing bad because you hate little misunderstoods and leads not together is silly. if was bad it would not be being classified as certified drama for national cultural. heat index would not be high, nor would yz and cast not be trend everyday since drama came back not one hs but four. even emperor consort and him trend for they love. if this slow burn and misunderstood is not for you. I suggest find drama that be it. no need to bash writing when drama is one drama whole. just under different name. this just my opinion.
