I agree it would make sense if novel was like series The Eternal love. In 3 series both leads new of past life, where came from and history. FL stayed in third life in past like in first, and second life. With this drama I see no reason as it play no big issue with drama. But not remembered but think in novel he do know but not sure if I read right once.

I was confuse cuz so say it was 40 but we only seen since day one 33. but now it is 40. so I say take as glitch I see no change and ask netizens on Weibo. they are just as confused. I know some wanted the full 40 as it was 40 episodes but 6 got cut. So I thought they got wish but I think it’s glitch like commenter said.
