I think it is. She’s been on Weibo HS for this four times this week. Also netizens are feeling the CP vibes. I don’t hate the ML. So this is a good fit. He’s a really good actor and they would spark up the screen.

I have and it’s a pretty decent concept. With modern dramas she needs scripts like TWOT, BCE, SOR something along the lines such as that. Because she is not young anymore doing idol dramas like the unfortunate Elvis drama. She would need to do roles such as family oriented, story of growth in order to get a good light shining on her. LE is another one that tackles a lot of heavy deep issues. Crime dramas are good and most of times can be hit or miss if the writing, directing is bad. She would do good in a hospital type drama. Or Physicalogical type drama. In all I want her to be happy but I do want the scripts she’s reading over to be less ancient puppet. More so modern/ republican.

I think we all know modern dramas have bad scripts. I’m saying she seems to have it worse sometimes in period dramas. it’ll also be good if she does more modern dramas.

I’m a huge fan of peng Xiao ran and I did not like certain comments of fans who said “only ones who see no fault or only loving this drama are peng Xiao ran fans.” it’s like no shit Sherlock but even as her fan I can honestly say she’s written horribly. the hate she’s getting isn’t right. though I wished she never responded to the novel writer as many have begun to pick apart her intentions. Still she’s getting flaked for something outta her control. she’s literally innocent and has been on a winning streak this year since LIP, BR especially put her face, name back out there. I hope people can think before they speak and watch before they blink.

someone wrote an article about how viewers are not grasping the FL and her actions etc. I actually think the way she wrote it made me even rethink my opinions of the FL character. Which gave me a reason to rewatch and I have up to 15. Now, I can’t be mad at her for being stupid. Yes, call it ML propping and pro writing. However, the FL is fed lies on all sides. People want her to rise up and fight against her family but put yourself in her shoes. You’re the apple of your Father’s eyes. Your adoptive brother and master adore and love you deeply. You’re showered with warmth an unimaginable love, and all of that was true but also a farce. The Father is a scheming evil twisted killer. So is the brother and master. You of course can’t see because the rose colored glasses and the sugary sweet poison they fed you for years since birth until now. Has you tunnel vision blurry. Your soon to be husband knows the truth and comes to you scheming. Thinking “Eh, she’s just like her family.” But learning you’re not. He then instead of telling her the truth forcibly as well makes her married him for wealth and power. She is hurt by the lies and the act of seeing her master killed. Yes, she learned he’s the ghost king. She also actively is trying to find clues and even give the Ml a standing grace point. However, every time she does (writers) forces her back into a crying mess. Blinded by the love of her family. Unable to see through the lines. But also the husband is feeding her the same poison. Instead of sugary sweet poison. It’s cold, dark, and worse of all bitter. The kind that doesn’t heal all wounds or leaves the patient in a dream like state. It’s the kind that warps and twists the soul, mind, and body into angoy pain. This is the FL lead ladies and gentlemen. This is who the writers decided to create. She isn’t no where like this in the novel. But from this standpoint I now get why I can’t call her stupid, annoying, boring, crybaby anymore. She’s not given the full story nor shown the full picture. Their love is a one sided coin. Sad part is she’s on the opposite side clueless and in the dark. The Ml says he loves her. I believe it but his actions isn’t sweet. The whole “He’s doing this for her good. Becuase he knows she won’t believe him.” is such a cop out. If that’s the logic many of the commenters mindset. Then why not apply the same logic to the FL. She’s only hating him because she’s only being met with cruelty. If you haven’t seen GBMP. Then you won’t know this is almost like FL actress first big role. So bad spoilers (FL kills herself) to escape the pain, hurt, lies. The ML is the exact same as this one. Yet he gets praises here. I’m not sure if it’s because of the actor or not. But it’s kinda weird to see praises for his so called scarfices and th Du girl scarfices. Yet, no one saw the FL having to scarfice her own free will and freedom. Same as Xiao Feng. (FL actress other character.) No one asked her what she wanted. No one cared to ask. Though the writing isn’t doing peng Xiao ran any favors she’s gracefully telling fans on Weibo everyday “It’s just a drama.” as she’s getting threats, name calling etc. All for this role. Many hoped her character followed the novel as the novel is female centric. I can’t help but to wonder if Peng had been more established like other famous actresses who do female centric dramas where the ML, established or not is only secondary to the storyline. Would she be getting this much hate? Also another thing, her fans can sit here and love this drama and the FL character all they want. Their not sitting her getting so worked up that their about to burst a blood vessel by calling a fictional character vile names. This drama page is truly toxic I agree. Everyone is clamoring down about the FL without even stepping out to see the bigger picture. And, don’t give me that “she should think, actually look for clues. they say she’s so capable and smart etc. why can’t she show it?” because the (writing) isn’t allowing her to do so. Also, you can’t expect someone like her to do a 180 jump flip an be some bad ass wuxia fighter of the world now can you? Especially since even though it was presented as such we never saw it until now. Some of you are not even seeing what she did in ep.15 She stayed back to protect the emperor. All you see is “she’s heartless, didn’t give him a cloth to cover up.” Is he not heartless as well? Lying like he gave her anti pregnancy drugs? Lying to her face constantly like her family? Lying like he killed this and that. Or saying he’ll do this and that? He’s literally GBMP ML 2.0 but much worse. As at least there at times we got some romantic moments until stuff hit the fan. I’m just saying both sides aren’t perfect but the hate for the FL is too another degree. Anyhoo this was my opinion sorry for the long rant an poor English. Japanese here and I suck at English. 😭 Also if someone does respond do it politely or it’s blocked list. I’m back watching and eps. 15 gave me some hope for Fl. I’m happy to see her warrior like moves during the fight. I swear Xiao ran should’ve played Mulan because she definitely gave the vibes.

Same. I think both will I also think her main role in the Tencent drama will showcase more of her talent. As it’s already being praised by some leak behind the scenes videos. She’s doing a really good job. Also the other day she won against the slanderous lies that the anti fans / media made about her. Same post that last black sunspot person posted on WOF because people didn’t like Zhong / Bao. So I’m happy for that as well. Another win for her now people can leave her alone an stop accusing her of such ill.
