Omg it’s so good to see you on here lol 😭I agree. I’m giving it to twenty episodes after that I might put it on hold until I feel like it’s going to develop better. I love both leads but these types of tropes be it how it was in the novel or not. Isn’t something I wanna keep watching.

omg just when you think they have reached common ground. Here comes the “father poisoned daughter, daughter doesn’t know, husband will keep lie.” I really hate how they are using the tropes you see in like those 20 min short dramas. I know some older Chinese dramas has this vibe but it’s getting repetitive and annoying. I’m trying to keep going because of the actors. If it wasn’t for them I would’ve stopped watching. Also, not sure why people are upset with others opinions if you’re enjoying this drama that’s good for you. No need to tell others to drop it and get on their case for not being on the same page. Same goes for telling fans to stop asking for kisses. I am actually one of those who wished in episode 9 we got a actual kiss. Even if it’s a peck bird kiss. I would’ve taken that. The scene and mood was right. Understandable we get why no kisses but that’s not going to stop fans who enjoy even the littlest of small pecks. Still keeping my fingers crossed and will see a power house couple before mid episodes.

Drama is number 7 on We tv hot list so it’s doing pretty decently for an old drama. Very happy for LHY.

Yeah I’m solely here for her an after the huge success Blood river brought her I’m sure we will get better roles for next year. If people are so bent on someone’s opinion they shouldn’t be joining a discussion page. Or actively looking for negative or indifference opinions.

That’s my issue it’s giving GMP plot an the first episode showing us how things got to be so bad. Really don’t help with the storyline as at times it felt super speed. I know many are upset most of us are not enjoying the drama but I’ve been waiting for this for a min now. It’s kinda hard for me to even trust youku when it comes to peng Xiao ran cuz they chopped and screwed her shining just for you drama so badly. I was upset. So I have not much stake to even hope this time will be different. I’m not gonna drop it unless it gets really annoying, but as of now I’m giving it to at least 20 episodes.

I’m not sure but some say after the success of BOY. He signed a contract with youku to only produce dramas with them. It’s just a rumor but if you look at his page. It doesn’t feel like it as four of them are all youku. Not sure his modern drama platform is but if it’s youku. then it’s safe to say the rumor is true. i hope not, he’s an incredible actor and humble being. wishing the best for him.

I’m actually loving it. You can tell it’s an older drama due to makeup, costumes etc. However, it’s something interesting currently on an I have been missing LHY. Call me desperate but this is my top priority at the moment.

it’s Tencent drama though. still good but his dramas are mostly with youku and they seem to keep him in limbo

I’m so glad one of his dramas is finally airing. Even if it’s old I’m desperate. I wish he would do dramas with Iqyi and other platforms more. So we can watch him regularly. Welcome back king. Still waiting on my third collaboration with Rosy. 😊

I wasn’t talking about her character. I’m talking about the story premise is giving me vibes of that drama. Not the characters. I do want her to wise up but in no shape was I saying she’s Xiao Feng or her character is going the same route.

I guess chemistry is definitely subjective in this one. Both of the leads are gogerous and look equally gorgeous together. However, the chemistry and writing. Omg I am having such a hard time pushing through. I think after 20 episodes I’ll know if this is for me or not. Gosh I hope it picks up for me soon. I don’t wanna see FL in the dark for the whole drama. This is giving me PTSD especially since it’s giving GBMP vibes. 😭

he has a strict contract with only youku I believe or at least that’s the rumor sadly so he’s not allowed to do other dramas with other platforms. this is an older drama so it’s why it’s late coming out.
