The question I have for myself as this drama literally ends tomorrow. What kind of ending do I wanna see? I guess as someone who’s defended this drama and engaged vigorously. I would rather just a accomplishment ending. If that makes sense? I necessarily don’t need a happy couple ending even though we know it’s a happy ending as it’s been spoiled all over the internet now. I truly hope that ending isn’t true. As he literally gives up his heritage, career just for her. I wanted a balance between the two but not a docile house husband. I wanted Rong traditions broken so the girls can find true happiness and love. I mean I feel like we will get that at least. But to see the ML will give up his all. I don’t know how I’ll feel about that. I can’t believe these last few episodes will be covering the capitol arc. The arc I’ve heard so much about on Weibo etc. How will it get told properly I am not sure. Kinda scared to even think about it. 😭Oh well guess I wait and see.

Saw the trailer and drama trending yesterday. It’s looking like it’s coming soon.

Sweet Jelly my baobei is busy and currently trending everyday. So happy for her. She’s earned this success and I can’t wait to see her roles and next roles. I hope these be her break out moments for 2026.

These retuers are killing me. They looked so good and both have been on hot search for the past days. Seems like netizens really looking forward to this play.

This I believe this will be a 7.5 or 8 rated drama for me. It doesn’t matter if they end up together or not. The tug an pull was nice in the beginning, So was the scheming. Now it’s repetitive and boring. She uses him and then you have people defending her actions with “She was betrayed by him or he lied first, she has a plan, their working together.” There is no excuses anymore. He came to them in the beginning ruthless but caring. He wanted and needed as an official to solve a case which happened to have her family behind it. She didn’t like how he came at her family. So he devises a plan to get into the house yes he snucked into it but he didn’t planned on losing his memory. However, she knew who he was and allowed him to be treated like a servant until she started having more of a crush on him. Then he became love sick puppy 100000 at this point everyone loves RSB. Now he’s back in his somewhat glory and he’s still licking boots for the Rong family an her. It’s not even about being a certain actor fan in this drama. It’s about the writing an plot. Now people are saying rumors of season 2 but so far that’s just rumors. Because many netizens are upset. The drama started off good and fell off poorly. It stop being good for ep.22 truly then. I can handle slow burn hello Flourished Peony, Story of Yanxi palace etc. I have watched dramas with 70+ episodes (I prefer thi genre a lot ancient puppet dramas are my favorites) However this isn’t even up there with the greats. The use of LjL has been reduced to a puppy slave official for Rong. Now he’s going to get himself embarrassed in ep.29&30 I truly hope the rumors aren’t true an he gives up his heritage for her. I also don’t want a season 2. I rather if they get together it’s just with both equally heritage not him giving up his own because that’s how Rong family has been. Truly I wished he wouldn’t get with her. That doesn’t mean I wan him with Miss Xu either. Although they looked cute together still no. He’s spend a better good 30 something episodes running in circles for a woman. I want him to do something for himself not for his love. But his own heart and goals.

I didn’t realise how SFl Miss Xu was pretty. Will definitely be checking out her future works. She actually pairs nicely with Neo/ LjL and I gotta say I would love to see a CP with them if possible. (wishful thinking) 🫣

Yes I agree as well. I want her to fight for more than some grass 😭😭 no offense to her hard work but she’s got a lot more to offered than being a stepping stone to her family and her duty. I wish after he regained his memories and she learned he has… both would’ve came together more cohesively without having some “can’t trust you” vibes. It’s fine to have it but I wanted them to be on equal footing. Understanding each other more openly. I guess I got my hopes up 😫 but I still like the drama and will finished it. I’m just getting frustrated. 😣

These two have been trending none stop. the fact they’re oozing sexual tension during filming and sugary sweet. Has everyone excited for this CP.

I kinda wished LJL character would’ve been another Jiang Chang Yang. In love and spoiling the FL but still making her work for her own. while knowing when to not coodle and do everything for her. Perhaps then it wouldn’t feel like his efforts are not being appreciated. That could be it.

Yes, I agree (sorry reply) it’s morning here in Japan. Yes I agree the drama has become boring however tea drama isn’t boring it’s the writing/ directing execution of it all. The drama started off so good I knew it would be realistic if I could get another drama like Flourished Peony/ In the name of blossom, Story of place of Kunning/ Sword and Barocde, Love like the galaxy. Like it was too good to be true. Hell even Yang Zi older drama Legend of the dragon pearl was better than this. As it stands this drama is failing and missing the obvious plot which is the main male lead. The synopsis starts off talking about LjL character and how yes he helps the Rong family and even falls in love with RSB. However, that’s only what we’ve seen. Him helping the family and not him solving cases that isn’t directly involved with her family. He’s like a family lawyer on hand personally for the Rong family and I don’t like it. Now netizens are praying for Phoenix of the heart. Say what Intl fans think but Neitzens are excited and it’s voted most definitely to be hit 2026. It’s also getting over 50K views and how people are loving the CP vibes. They also hope Neo can act with another actress someone else in 90s. Like some not all are over this drama. Many have gone to promote POTH and his current filming one. 😭🥴 That shows how bad Yu Zheng keeps on screwing things up. So much he keeps on showing pics of both leads saying how beautiful they is. The other director loves Neo but honestly it just doesn’t feel like he’s getting a fair chance. It’s kinda like The Unclouded Soul all over but at least with him not getting many scenes many chalked it to him being second billed. He’s first billed and the main character of the drama but yet his character is barely seen. Unless he’s simping over RSB. I hope he walks away and not fawn over her once he’s in his royalty like role but I know it’s not happening per the drama official trailers. At this point I’m just ready for the drama to end and watch out for his other dramas etc. I know some would say “This isn’t a Neo drama.” but umm it actually is if the drama is based on the male lead solely first and then mentioned the Rong family. I’m just saying. I’m glad others are still enjoying it. I’m still enjoying it but I have given up on the couple at this point. I’m just watching it. 🥲
