Omg we’re alike than hehe 😉 I hated Sakura and in Japan she is not favorable. We Japanese really like the Hinata types most Japanese men do and most don’t. But I prefer characters like hinata,orihime, kikyou. come to think of it Ashui is like a mixture of all three of these characters. There’s a line from their ost that plays every time they have a romantic moment. It’s the last ending line and I learned in CP world Cdrama world the lyrics will show you what’s bound to happened. Well sometimes 😂 “After countless twists, and turns, we meet again.” I’m assuming since the song is about rotation, fate, waiting, one calling, etc they will meet again.

However, I do agree all of the other females are who I usually would kinda like but I’ve had my filled this year. Sneaky innocent characters like Ashui is who I’m into. Blame the Japanese in me and my anime waifus who are just like her 😭 She gives the vibes heavily. But yeah, she’s the closest to the FL for ML. Even though this isn’t romance if it were you’re right she’s top row contender.

Eh to each their own I don’t care one way or another. I’m simply responding to the comment above me as to why people love the couple. I actually like their outside interactions more. Hoping for an actual CP couple in a different drama than this. But I know there are fans of this drama. Which isn’t a bad thing. I have no dog in this race. Simply as that.

Super group of this CP for netizens is ever growing everyday, and with Leo and Jelly always interacting livestream on each others Weibo page. This has helped with the drama lacking the romance dept. I guess it’s true, throw a dog a bone and it will howl. 😭 Because even though this is a non romance drama. It’s been circling as romance. Be it both ways or not. It’s definitely CP marketing. I just login into my Weibo account an unlock a drama SSR style scene of Tang lici & Ashui. Another CP moment is coming in the near future. A Lantern festival and both are smiling an kneeling by the water with flower laterns looking outward happily. Mango tv and directors know how to get people who are looking for any romance to tuned in. This is already being discussed as to what will happened etc.

Edit : Just checked their supergroup it has now gained more followers an fans. 598 in total and steady growing. CP list is out and Tang lici & Ashui is #35 right under sword and beloved CP. So yeah safe to say netizens love this CP.

oh you’re so welcome. I decided to stay off this page as the hate for Ashui is real 😭 I don’t care if she’s really a villain or not. Many on TikTok and YouTube want it to be so, like a reformed villain. Who falls in love. Today’s episode gave me that feeling that she’s in love and dare I say Tang lici is also falling in love. But I don’t wanna step on any toes. So imma just ease out and come back once the drama is mid way or has ended. Glad you love them. 🦋

Gosh I hate one episode a day. The plot is getting thicker and we are finally getting to the spoilers I’ve already seen. Ugh do we know if we’re getting two episodes next week? Or still one? Also congrats to the drama it’s trending three times on Weibo. It’s the first one to double cloud double top.

Seems netizens are extremely pleased with th drama, the CGI, the acting and characters. Leo has been called graceful and divine. The rest of the cast is also getting their shine.
