I'm glad you enjoyed the article! Thanks for reading it. I've been looking at Cdramas, but not sure where to start.…
I'd be happy to rec. Did you want something in high school, modern day, work or a historical? What is your preference?

Genuinely prefer the real boyfriend XD I'm tired of this extreme Kdrama boyfriend who doesn't exist. Honestly, it seems to me that what is ideally wanted is a rich handsome boyfriend who is rude to everyone and is waiting for the RIGHT GIRL to change him. Yuck! This was a fun article, enjoyed reading it, I encourage you to watch Chinese and Thai dramas because they will give you different types of boyfriend standard, especially Thai to write about. I would love to read another article by you. <3

In K-Pop, all idols regardless of gender are marketed as "fan's unofficial boyfriend/girlfriend". It isn't just boy groups. Knowing things about them is part of being a fan but people do cross the line and they are called saesangs in K-Pop. They are generally criticized by all for their stalker behavior. But as I said, do to the marketing of idols, they are sold to look like the "ideal partner" because of this, the general public in Korea doesn't actually consider idols "real artist". They are a market product machine hence when a 'dating scandal' occurs shit hits the fan in Korea. An extreme example is HyunA & Dawn (formerly known as E'Dawn) who were kicked out of their own company openly contradicting the lie their company said that they weren't dating when they have been together for two years. Recently, however, dating scandals with idols haven't become as crazy of a thing for several reasons but I won't bore you with that.

As for The Untamed, my personal opinion is that this drama is well liked for the men in it not the actual story. This subjective opinion is solely based of every single person to whom I've ever discuss what the heck the drama is about with. I have noticed repeated that they care more about the hot guys in it. While I'm sure they also liked the story and chemistry, I know that if the actors weren't handsome, the drama wouldn't be popular. This is generally true, for all dramas. The value of handsomeness of the actors/actresses can in fact determine the popularity of it but it is especially true for this drama.

I haven't seen Hospital Playlist but I will eventually, being from the writer and director of the Reply series…
I know exactly what you mean, I would like a better ratio of girls and guys, I'm tired of the only one or two!
