I really don't like it at all when sister fight about a guy. I'm okay if the guy is fictional/celebrity (because that is for fun) but I just, can't stand it when it shown in dramas. NO.
Well crafted list. I will definitely need to watch a couple of these, they have been on my list for too long, perhaps in December when I have finished uni.
Hype is a time-constrained concept. Every year, generation, or a new batch of groups will always have something that is backed by popular consensus. The interesting thing about a drama that gets hyped is watching when it re-adjusts. Eventually, a good amount of people would have watched the drama, and either liked or disliked it. As the drama market is flooded every year with new batches of dramas, that originally high rating on a hyped drama gradually decreases or dramatically decreases.
For example, Boys Over Flowers was widely popular and hyped, it is among the entry points for a lot of people who started watching Korean dramas. Now, it is widely disliked, laughed at and often used in memes to poke fun at it. Another example, Reply 1988 which was hyped during the time it aired, and as an already five-year-old drama, it still remains highly rated here on MDL.
I can't wait to read Part 2.
You're wish is my command!
