I love this drama so much, it's amazing and the character development is splendid! I do believe that Sun Woo is…
thanks :) yes especially with the latest episodes, it does seem more and more like Bong Sun and Sun Woo are the ones meant for each other, and that Soon Ae is the catalyst for this to happen!
I finished the ep 6 and I think that there is just too much time wasted. I mean seriously, what is wrong with…
I didn't find that the former bully part was boring or useless at all. It feels like Sun Woo's past of being bullied is still an open wound -- you can see it in his excessive irritation over Bong Sun's timidity -- and that feeling sympathy for his former bully is one step in his growth as a character...
I’m enjoying this drama a lot so far — some characters have some very poignant moments, for example with the Chef and his former bullies in ep 6, or ghost Soon Ae with her father in ep 5… However, although people generally seem to prefer Soon Ae’s personality, I do prefer Bong Sun as a character — and although Soon Ae’s personality has had more time with Sun Woo and has provoked interactions with him that didn’t exist when Bong Sun was just Bong Sun, I don’t agree when people say it’s Soon Ae that Sun Woo is falling in love with… He has cared for Bong Sun for a long time, and the reason he is being softer with her in the most recent episodes isn’t because he’s being seduced by Soon Ae, but because he’s very concerned that Bong Sun is too fragile and may be mentally ill. I think Soon Ae’s relationship with him is more superficial, and her purpose is more to force Bong Sun and Sun Woo together, so that Bong Sun will have to deal with the aftermath of Soon Ae’s interactions with Sun Woo — and this should help her develop as a person, and hopefully push her out of her shell… I love how Sun Woo really has a soft spot for her, though :)
So far I've been following Oh My Ghost which has been funny, sweet and touching for now, with really good acting. I just started Scholar, which is a bit on the dramatic side and almost corny, though that doesn't matter if it manages to remain as interesting -- Lee Jun Ki is wonderful in it!
Haha Gwi's character is great, I love those decadent embroidered robes he wears so casually, his gothic candle-lit cave and his nonchalance.... So far he doesn't seem like a subtly written character at all, and yet I find Lee Soo Hyuk plays him wonderfully by exaggerating his excess instead of trying to make him more natural or realistic. I read many negative comments about the music, but I actually thought the old-fashioned music in THAT (no spoilers hehe) emotional scene in episode 1 was a nice touch, because along with the very theatrical setting, there is also definitely something very classical in the way they portrayed Gwi as a vampire (candles, sexy, luxury, night...) which could've been cheesy, but instead felt like a fun reference to those old-time vampire movies thanks to the music. This could be good!
Cool article :) I think Sungkyunkwan Scandal was a book too!
Oh, and then there are all those chinese dramas like "Boss & Me", "Lady & Liar", "My Sunshine" or "Cruel Romance" that are adapted from "internet novels", so I guess that's another category altogether.
I find that he's a very expressive actor! would love to see him in a main role (kinda afraid he may have been around for too long to finally snag a leading role, though... but you never know!)
How important is Jiro Wang's character in here? I really like him, and whether I watch this or not depends on him... I don't mind spoilers, as long as they're marked as such for other viewers, of course ;)
Is this drama good from the perspective of a non-fan?
I second @MsSeoRa: I'm definitely not a fan because I don't like k-pop at all... However this is quite fun, romantic and light, and I agree the main actress is very sweet :)

I love Park Bo Young, how cool that she's finally going to star in a drama!!!!!!!
