They didn't fully explain his ability. However, it is save to assume that his special blood might be from Shek Gam Dong's ability being transferred to him slowly. Though, we're still not sure how he avoid deaths so many times in the past (his history with accidents and what not). Maybe it will be address in season 2.

The drama and anime is sooooo different. I preferred the anime's plot over this, however the drama gave us so much more story. Just wished that the writers followed the anime's story-wise. Ah...so many people would cry over the brothers' story if they adapt it into the drama. They should have been consistence with Jiro's character. Him jumping back and forth between angry-stubborn Yan Bing, and arrogant-comedic Yang Bing was a bit frustrating to watch. Also, the unnecessary "drama" between 2 leads where he scream and she ran away afterwards was so cringe-worthy.... and so out of character for original Yan Bing.
