So I re-watched episodes 27-32 with eng sub and I realize now that he's been knowing that Wenxi is the maid. In eps. 28 they went to go visit her dad and when they left he asked her about her brother and father and if they were still alive. After asking her he asked when she would leave, implying that it would be time for her to go because her brother and dad would be released soon (which didn't happen later on, and he told her that in another eps, that she would have to stay longer...). He told her not to lie to him about why she was there. Then in eps. 29, the maids brought in the incense for the crown princess and were going to throw it out But the crown prince told them not to. He had a flash back to when he made the incense for Wenxi and it was in the container. Basically, I feel like he's been knowing who she is. In a lot of the episodes he looks at her a certain way and there is a lot of things that you need to look at between the lines when he says things that go back to the beginning of the story.

Okay I get it now. That's a really good point. You really do have to look deeper when watching this film.

There are two moments where I think he might have found out who she was. Its already painful viewing it from both point of views, honestly. The whole lets be strangers scenario makes since but I wouldn't think he would want her outside the room while he was having sex with his wife and the part where she gets pregnant. I'm honestly just in debate with myself. What ep. are you on?

@PeachBlossomGoddess Woooooow! I never noticed that. Honestly, I didn't look at it this way. Now that you mentioned this, it kind of adds up now. I always wondered why it never showed him having flashbacks of their encounters, only she had them. So I'm watching it raw and I'm still a little confused because I don't understand the language buuuut on Ep. 38 and 39, they revealed to the King that Gu A'Bao is Lu Wenxi and the Crown Prince got a little scared, like he already knew and tried to cover it up so she wouldn't get killed. I'm just confused and wish they would reveal it already. I already know they are going to wait until the last episodes to say he already knew who she was. But I really like how you see everything
