Personally suppose that vast majority of readers think this way that XL is the most potential character to be the First ML. Well I lost count of the times that I watched this MASTERPIECE drama and everytime I watch it I come up with a bunch of questions lol, cuz the drama does not tell you much about the things going on and predominantly is up to the reader/audience to interpret the events. For instance there are lots of controversies about the kissing scene, I personally had the ambiguity of XL's intention regarding that kissing. Well after reading the novel and the help from the guys here I somehow got that it wasn't actually seizing but helping her to breathe (since he aimed to kill CX) the scene does not convey the so called vibe though, I see it as a ROMANTIC kiss :)

Wowww dude you literally convinced me. Actually I keep telling myself that she had never had XL in her heart as the FIRST LOVE. Cuz the thing is that she's always sooo passionate when being with Jing and denying XL's everything that he did for her. Well for me it wasn't love at first sight though, I was like whyyyy XL's soooo contradictory maann, I mean in my case his character was the first thing that got me and no need to mention that it took me about 20 episods to fall for him which is unlike my personality (I crush on characters easily and from the very first moments) BUT XL's case was the rarest one and unfortunately of the toughest type of crushing.

Well tbh the first reason I started watching this drama was Deng Wei as the ML since I knew him from Till the end of the moon (had no idea ab Jianci nor knew him) so I just gave it a shot. Then after about a few episods it was only XL's♡ everything that kept me watching and sticking in. After that I just didn't care about whether XL was the 1st ML or not (been struggling that why he was not the 1st though) I somehow regret starting it cuz I literally can't get him♡ outta my brain :/

I suppose that I watched every single scene of him more than a hundred times💘 No character has ever got me the way he did.
