Best School Drama i have watched so far. Full of lessons, emotions, dealing with hardships at young age etc.. Hwi Young character development was best.. Lead couple romance was off the charts. I liked the ending more than anything though some might not agree about that. Ro Mi part was also good. Some people are saying that she suddenly changed her views regarding pil seong, but i thinks she has been having thoughts like that after getting on good terms with soo bin, she was conscious of pil seong, and that was nice to see..
And the Teacher han Keol, i can describe how good this character was.. if every teenagers have a teacher like that in his/her life, things would turn out pretty good for him/her..
Warning! some people feelings might get hurt or you will end up judging me. So don't go through few paragraphs of rubbish i will just write that i call my feelings..LOL..
I regret watching this movie. I watched because i loved Kim Go Eun as i had seen her in Goblin and Cheese in the trap. I loved her innocent and bubbly characters and that's why became a fan of her. I watched this movie just for the reasons above. But i was completely shocked and surprised to see her in a character like this.
I am not saying that she should not have done this rule, she will be the judge of that and she is a great actresses and she did well in this movie and the few dramas i watched.
I might be judging, no offence, but i didn't think this was real. It was so strange to watch her in this movie.
She got guts. I agree with it. After some search, i found it it was her debut, and in the debut she did choose such a daring character. Few scenes aside, she was really awesome in the movie where she acted for the first time. i could feel the vibes of Go Eun from Goblin and Cheese in the trap (although order to watch was wrong).
I still believe she is a great actor and daring one at that. Its just i feel strange now that i have seen her few scenes. I don't know if i will be able to watch more of her work (hopefully i do watch). I mean its not that big of a deal. Most of the actors go through this. But i had a vague image about Korean dramas/actors/actresses. After seeing this movie i realized that, what i thought about them might be wrong. I might have been living in a fantasy just like a drama and really struck me hard,
Its just my feelings, i got totally surprised, shocked, angry and sad after watching her few scenes in this movie. That's why i wrote this to get this off my chest. I wish i hadn't watched this movie. But now i can't undo it. and i feel terrible thinking like a old-fashioned/conservative guy, but thats all there is to it. To me, (no offence to others and her), Kim Go Eun is not same anymore..and it makes me sad...
I'm really really glad that i started this drama. Its my first IU's drama and i loved her more than anything.. the best drama, ending was complete and good. IU, the highlight of drama,
Soo Bin to her father, while crying; "It is so easy for you adults. You say to us 'You are still young you don't know anything' when you want us to obey you and you say ''you are adult now. you can understand' when you want us to just understand" (Pardon me if the words are not same. LOl)
It was the one of the best line that hit me in this drama. So true and relate-able.
The reaction of Soo Bin’s mother to their relationship was extreme. What makes a mother or just her to react…
@Laura5310 I don't think that anything can justify her behavior. It was extreme and disrespectful to her daughter. The fact that she doesn't realize that its her selfishness that makes her do these things to her daughter because So bin has told her mother countless times that she won't meet her expectations , but the mother is adamant.
Whats more confusing is that, i am slightly sure the drama won't show her mother regret her behavior even at the end. Why, because apparently parents can do anything for the better future of children. The future they envision but not the children.
Im Soo Hyang, what role She can't play, from Crazy gold-digger in Blow Breeze, introverted beauty in Gangnam beauty to Seok Hee here in this drama.. All different roles and all played so nicely that each of them has carved an image of the character in mind amidst the actresses herself.
