I really like this drama, well i was expecting it to be. On thing i didn't expect was the female character, she is such a strong character. I thought FL would be overshadowed by her counterpart ML (more so if played by Lee Dong Wook), but they did fair justice to the character as well as to the actress playing it (Jo Bo Ah deserves it and really fit for the character). She seems sad, but focused with melancholy side to her, her determination and her resolve to solve cases (though impulsive) makes her stand out, but most importantly in the first 2 episodes, the FL is asking for ML help, but doing everything herself, she is smart and challenges herself contrary to the dramas where apparently a"strong FL" just stays back of ML and let him do all the work for her.
Only if they could understand like this. But they wont. It is a hot mess. And the producers will rush it in last…
i fear thats gonna happen, this one has such a good start, depicting the struggles of having/not having passion/talent or skill, but the last few episodes seemed to stray from that basics.. lets hope for the best, cause i'm not willing to drop it..LOL
I was just wondering why JY can't just get rid of that handkerchief
SA seems right in her position, anyone would have lost confidence if you were competing with the 10 year unrequited love of your partner while his ex-love seems to approach him now. I was wondering the same thing, why doesn't he throw the suitcase out, but maybe for him, those 10 years would mean nothing if he does that, or maybe because he was not only in love with her but he thinks he owe her/her family that much.. i tried to understand him but still can't comprehend unless he opened up himself to SA , cause SA seems to really move on from her ex-love now that she finds herself in love again.
Seriously dude, Han Hyun Ho, i get that you're overly obsessed with your love for Lee Jung Kyung, but be more truthful to yourself. Your lover turned her back on you, your friend never did a single thing all those years. Though it seems that Min-Seong is different, she is more sad about Song-Ah keeping that secret from her than she actually liking him ( maybe she expected her to open up to her, like she always tell song-ah things about herself), but that's just my early opinion, or maybe she kinda feel bad for her or angry like Han-Hyun-Ho, but i hope she doesn't turn out a jerk like him in the end..
And for Cha-Song_Ah, girl stand up, you are doing exactly the same thing you thought that made Joon-Young lose his passion for piano. You love violin, yes, you might be angry/sad that all your love doesn't pay off in the good way (grades/position/recognition), but doesn't that make you different from people. Get out of this never-ending downhill relationship with your teacher, i liked how you knew what you loved and how you are different,
This made me smile, very well written and the duo is fantastic..LOL.. its really a blessing if you have a close friend that has some interest in Kpop/Kdramas etc..
who say jellies are the only weirdest things in this drama, how about no one gives a damn and starts following FL when she say jellie monster are in school..LOL
Has anyone ever saved an image of someone's voice. i did it for "Park Joo Hyun" in "A Piece of Your mind". Her voice is so soothing, sweet and sometimes too sad to handle. Now i realized why that had her as that character in "A Piece of Your mind", because she had to speak a lot via being an AI, that made that AI concept more beautiful , because her voice coming from the device was really something..
I am so curious about the real reason why her mom killed her dad. I heard this is a remake of a movie; anybody…
My hypothesis: Her father misunderstood (or maybe was right, not sure) that her mother was having an affair, so he must have gotten angry, and maybe blamed her mother and their daughter, like how low people go even to suspect their child that its not theirs. Something like that. He might have been too angry and wanted to hit them or the daughter specifically (maybe kill her, he was drunk). The mother tried to stop and ended up stabbing him. It just an impression i got from how the mother told in some scene that she would go to such lengths to protect her child. Also how she never told her daughter , if she was really having an affair.
Somehow, I feel even worse for Joon young as if that is even possible! First off, his parents are leeching off…
I love how you portrayed feelings of yours, i felt the same and couldn't express in words, they both have their insecurities and the fact that they themselves realize that is sad..
the way they met, they way they become friends, the way they talk to each other,(or more like bickering LOL) the way they feel that they are going through same things, I just love them sm. started this because of PSD & PBG, but i like the story, especially the "fighting for your dreams" concept for Hye-Jun and "Want to have stable life of my own choices" of Junh_Ha..
I really wish I would drop this drama but it's like watching a car crash or train wreck (the most boring car crash…
Up until now, not even once the drama showed that FL or Jin are grownups, mature or else.. although they keep saying themselves that they are a mess, jin thinks so too, Ye Ji as well. Why would you think that drama wanted to show FL as a role model when the character herself realizes that she has a lot of problems and she is trying to get herself together. If you want to see her an example, then ignore her romantic relationship for now (i think it will get more messy until we get some result), everything else can be taken as her strength. She still graduated, still following or trying to achieve her dream, despite her past/aunt, she is still trying to survive..
Everyone else in the drama thought that Jin and YeJi needed each other cause they are both broken, isn't that why the father supported them, and even Hwan too.
I hope Jin isn't dead. It would be nice if he come back. From the trailer you can tell the mother is saying that…
Exactly, i think so too, she is hiding him, he is probably injured or worse or else he would have come back. When FL finally accepts his feelings towards Hwan, then Jin Will come back miraculously and again make everything a mess..LOL
In the beginning I was really engaged but the last two episodes were a bit disappointed, maybe because I was expecting…
There wasn't much of a story. The story/plot was not the main point of the drama imo. Everything was revealed, their secrets, pains suffering, only the mystery of her mother was left. TBH, i wasn't focused on that part, cause i knew one way or the other its gonna happen anyway. I was more focused on the people suffering and recovering from that secret reveal. I think it was never a thriller/mystery drama, it was more of close to heartaches, fate, suffering, and mostly healing. The theme of drama that "Psycho but its okay" or "Its okay to not be okay" was the main point. And i am glad that writer didn't put too much effort in mystery/thriller part, instead focused on characters psych/mentality and their behaviors towards getting better version of their self. If you look at this drama in this perspective, you might ignore the story itself.
That's it. Can't describe in words how much i loved this drama, the characters/actors. One of the best so far. The Trio was one and only seen in kdrama, and will forever remain that so.
