What i liked best about the last episode were the film references. when I view the series from this lens it’s perfectly fine as well as the comedic parts, which are quite good. As for it being a BL or romance. It is underwhelming.

I agree, I have noticed a change in the MDL posts in the last few months. If you post something critical you are subject to a flurry of the most simplistic of responses, “well don’t watch it” and even some hateful comments. We don’t all have to think the same. We can like certain parts of series not not all of them. Keep sharing.

Sometimes I watch series with the hope it will get better. Sometimes I like the actors but they are stuck with bad screenwriting. I have watched many series that were brutal which help me appreciate the ones that are great.

I had to look at the series description again because having completed 5 episodes there is not a hint of romance between the main leads, not even secondary couples to keep it interesting. I don’t mind the subject matter but I gave up any expectations this was a romantic comedy. 🎠Maybe comedy at times.
