Yeon Woo is the definition of annoying. As a lead character I have ZERO interest in him and that’s no good.

No, it’s not. The characters are annoying, the the plot is tedious and you will slog through multiple episodes to find no joy. There is no happiness in this series. No moments of sweetness, not that I have seen. The episodes are short which is a saving grace.

Seong Woo Jae can suck it. There I said it. He’s petty. He’s mean. He’s probably a bad writer because he doesn’t COMMUNICATE. This trend in series (mainly Korean) where people don’t communicate their feelings and misunderstandings ensue is exhausting. It’s culture, it’s shyness, it’s whatever. It’s still not fun to watch. The series has become tedious and slogging through 9 episodes just to get to 1 nice, pleasant one doesn’t seem worth it.

oh it’s fat shaming all right. I’m watched the entire series and I found it hard to swallow - pardon the very bad pun. I dare not tell you what happened in the last episode….it’s so offensive. This is a thing in Asian culture. I guess it’s a thing everywhere really. But in particular there is no shame in people making jokes about weight. It’s like they haven’t clued in that this is discrimination and a human rights issue. the best character in the series is the the one played by Henry…he only says nice things about the “daegu venus” …he tells her she has a nice face, she is pretty and he never says anything about her weight. She should have gone out with him!
