#1 Have never applied to me. I'm not from english speaking country and we don't have dubbed tv series in tv. Ever. Well, except maybe childrens shows. So I'm used to reading subtitles ever since I learned to read xD Was not a problem for me to start watching asian dramas :P
One of my korean friends was working at subway when descendant of the sun craze was going on and they showed subway in the drama alot.. she said it was crazy, customers at least doubled and they were very busy during that time. It's funny to see how k-dramas affect what's trendy
I thought it was so weird the pairing of her and Taecyeon ( I didn't watch it cause of that) I mean they…
I thought it was weird too before I watched it. I have seen Kim So Hyun in dramas where she acted when she was younger so I had that picture always in my mind whereas I have always seen Taecyeon as an idol and older than me (I'm way older than Kim So Hyun)... so it was weird to picture these two as a couple but the drama itself was entertaining and their chemistry was surpisingly good and the age difference didn't even show~
For me this is still so-so. I loved Ha Suk Jin in 'Something about 1%' but in here it seems he has less scenes as for now and his character is always yelling or being rude. The drama is more focused on Ho Won. And I find it annoying that writers are repeating themselves aka Ho Won gets into trouble and "you're fired" threats in every episode. Some of the situations are funny though and I laughed out loud couple times but... Have to watch couple more episodes to see if this is just repeating itself or if the story is actually proceeding forward.
Umm... some of these dramas have already finished airing....
But yeah, I agree that watching currently airing dramas brings more fun (or pain) when you have to guess and wait for a week what happens next~
I felt disappointed with ep 15 bringing out that cliche "we can't be together" out. But ep 16 preview had my hopes raised again and I was squealing with all those scenes showed. I hope they don't leave an open ending but show a happy ending instead.
Only one I dropped from these is Shut up flower boy band, didn't watch even first episode until the end. Just didn't interest me, didn't hook me. It's okay that's love, pinocchio and oh my venus I haven't seen and two latter ones are on my ptw list.
Even though I loved Goblin I felt the same problem between two main characters, it didn't felt that they had something romantic going on.. else, a great drama in my opinion.
I like how they started it slowly and gave back story but they could have put that all in 3 episodes instead of processing the story veeeery slow for whole 6 episodes. But after episode 7 I have been totally loving it~ I just want to squish Hwang Ki because he's so adorable.
Oh my god, I've never seen Park Hyung Shik before and seeing him had me squealing! Omg, I'd even say…
I advice to watch What happens to my family and skip Hwarang. Hwarang starts off good but I started feeling frustrated with it after ep 5 and ended up following it just because of couple characters. Hyungsik looks hot in there though lol
This was on my watch list already but when I was in Korea these couple weeks O.M.G how greatly this drama was…
yup, was there last year also with all Descendants of the sun hype... and now it was more like Goblin hype XD Gong Yoo everywhere XD But this drama has got lot of spotlight so I hope it does well~
This was on my watch list already but when I was in Korea these couple weeks O.M.G how greatly this drama was advertised. I saw clips all the time in tv and big ads in metro stations. The video clips looked so funny! Can't wait to start this~
I'm really afraid this takes some stupid turn like Sun Woo being long-lost crown prince or something.. it sounded like that in ep 15 when that one man said "do you know why I raised this child"... I hope it won't go to that but knowing korean dramas... well, wouldn't be a surprise.
