Episode 33: Xiao Bai is relieved after hearing that Chun Hua is okay but after thinking that she is most likely…
@ani411 sorry for interrupting in, I have been reading your convo and I think Go Go Squid was good but I liked Gank Your Heart better so if you like Go Go Squid I advice you to try and watch Gank Your Heart :) https://kisskh.at/30561-gank-your-heart
i am already in ep 33 and was hoping to enjoy some sweet revenge after all the cliched misdeeds. But brace yourself…
Yep, I too reached ep 33 just now and I am really annoyed with all the plot twists bringing back Mi Ya to the picture for the last time. The drama would be soooo good without the unnecessary ex-girlfriend plotline.. The story is still good but I just wish they would have gotten rid of that kind of cliche.
I was really enjoying this up until episode 20 or so until they decided to bring the good old 'ex-girlfriend comes back' plot. I'm at ep 25 and hoping they won't drag that plotline until the very few last episodes, I find it reeeeeeally annoying when a good drama is ruined by this kind of cliche...
Can anybody send me the link to the anime version and also what is the name of this mangaI found like 4 animes…
That's because there are many seasons in the anime and two mangas. The original anime is called "The prince of Tennis" and after it comes "the nationals" etc. The sequel is "the new prince of tennis". Manga is called also the Prince of Tennis and sequel is the New prince of tennis.
No wonder Seo Young Joo felt so familiar, saw him couple times at campus when I was doing my exchange in Sejong. I felt like I had seen him somewhere but couldn't really place where xD Didn't know about the famous alumnis though, thanks for this article!
Great article. I don't understand why people say Kill It is boring or the storyline doesn't make sense. Some say the male lead doesn't show enough emotion but who on earth would show affection and fall in love quickly if they spend most of their lives as a loner without much people around them. I personally like the show very much since it's realistic in the relationships.
It's funny to read the comments arguing about age gap. The most common sentence that comes through is "it's got nothing to do with how the person looks" and then proceed to tell how 19 -year old should not be paired with someone who's 31 -years old. How about if you wouldn't know about their real ages at all? Would you still say the same and argue about leads not fitting in their roles? Sure, Kim Yoo Jung looks young but I'm betting most of you wouldn't guess she's 19. And I bet this debate wouldn't be existing if Yoon Gyun Sang had a babyface and would look like 24-years old. This whole debate about age gap is ridiculous. Age never really tells how young/mature person is; I myself have a babyface and most people would guess based on my face I'm about 20 years old when I'm actually really close to Yoon Gyun Sang's age.
I binge watch about everything, doesn't matter to me if the drama is long; I just watch it in a week or so. I'm a bit peculiar binge watcher, I have seasons where I can finish 3 to 4 dramas in one week, then I might have two months break without watching even a single drama. I also hop between western and asian dramas. I have seasons where I watch western and then I miss asian dramas and start to binge watch them and vice versa. Somebody might think I have no life but I actually am studying currently. I just watch dramas when I have free time to relieve stress. I also have some friends who watch asian dramas and I find it nice to discuss about dramas with them~
I have no problem with internet connection since the connection is only slightly slower than in Korea. But streaming sites sometimes cause me gray hairs when they pop up new windows all the time when I try to play an episode. Also, finding subs is no problem for me with korean and japanese dramas as I can watch mostly also without them. I have studied both languages and especially korean with putting a lot of effort to it so sometimes when I say I can watch dramas as soon as they air somebody's saying "you're lucky". Which I think is a bit wrong, you can with your own efforts study the language and understand it. But I also kinda understand the frustration with missing subtitles as I cannot for example watch any korean or japanese medical dramas without subs (I applaud those who translates these and use lot of time to search about the medical vocabulary). Anyway, I appreciate all who sub, I could translate too but it is way too time consuming (have tried once, left it there) and I don't know how people manage to juggle with school and social life beside it. I hate those who plagiarize and don't give credits to who subbed and did all the hard work.
Great article! I don't understand why like half of the people thinks Yoon Gyun Sang is a wrong choice for this drama. I like how he portrays his characters and his face is so expressive! Really enjoying this drama and I can't even feel the age difference.
I feel like nothing makes me tear up more than injustice. Really, Seo In Woo had me gagging in hate. His dumb…
I totally agree with you, Lee Dong Gun is amazing actor and can play a lot of different kind of roles. In this drama I totally hate Seo In Woo's character and how he thinks that customer is always above you. And somebody might think these situations are going way too over in this drama but I have worked in airport tax free shop (in my country's main airport) and I've seen similar situations that are appearing in this drama. For example, one time a customer yelled at me and threw a water bottle at me because he wasn't able to buy it from the store (due to customs law because he was flying domesticly). So yeah, these kind of situations do happen to airport employees..
I rarely give a drama even an 8.0 because for me drama has to be really good already for me to give it 8.0. Subconciously I expect this from others so when I start drama that has average rating over 8.0 I'm often disappointed. Good example from a drama which gave me a major disappointment was chinese drama 'A love so beautiful'. It was practically praised in the comments and got a good rating. I started it and felt bored already in the first episodes. I'm usually those kind of people who start a drama and stick to it and finishes, but I was close at dropping that drama. If the few last episodes wouldn't have saved my watching experience, I would have honestly given the drama 5.0 rating. So in conclusion, drama ratings are very personal. But what I've noticed in mdl that majority usually gives an 'ok' drama 8.0 to even a 9.0 when for me it's more like between 6.0 to 7.5. I'm always giving my ratings when I finish the drama, I never evaluate based on few watched episodes because there has been quite a few dramas which bored me in the first episodes but turned out to be exeptionally good when I watched episodes a little forward.
I seriously don't get Yeo Reum's behavior most of times. I couldn't stand her behavior on episode 14. Seriously…
If you are insecure and as it was revealed she had family problems and propably faced bullying because of it, the behaviour is often like how Yeo Reum reacted. I was bullied throughout my elementary school, I'm now close to 30 years old and I still have sometimes issues with insecurity as well as if people laugh at me I take it seriously (even if I know they're just teasing but subconciously it hurts and I just want to hide). I also think that some of Yeo Reum's actions are going a bit overboard and annoying but based on her revealed background I kinda understand where the actions come from.
I personally think it's too much because the cycle kept repeating where they make up and break up like 5 times…
I think it follows the story of the original manga really well. I was also annoyed about the break up-make up cycle but it's similar in the manga also.
I agree with 'The eternal love' opinion. It was an ok drama but in my opinion also, not anything really special. For me the problem was mostly that the plot was all over the place.
Does this drama have supernatural/sci-fi elements? I don't get what's going on with the powerful-Twilight arm…
No it doesn't. It will be revealed in episode 5-6 that what is the case exactly. It might seem as supernatural in first episodes because for some reason the writers wanted to keep the real reason hidden for a while.
