What I watch depends on what interests me. I mostly binge watch but if the story sounds super interesting, I'll watch the show even if it's still airing.
I respectfully disagree. I am a TOTAL fluffy romance junkie.(I am over 30) I feel that because someone is younger…
Same! I like more fluffy romance (I'm over 30 but my mind is 20 apparently) and couldn't really stand for example Ashes of Love and Love and Destiny. But I'm really invested in this and the story is well written. Same with Long Ballad, I absolutely loved it even though it wasn't a fast-paced romance.
I'm really not any of these though most closest would propably be ahjumma. Since I've been watching asian dramas from 2007-ish. I'm mainly just enjoying watching dramas on my own, I don't often discuss or comment about them with other people.
There's a spinoff/special episodes that will continue what happens after episode 24. I just saw the first part of that but no idea if there's more or how long the special is.
What's with these handsome young MLs popping out lately in dramas who look definetly older than their age. First I was shocked by Leo Wu's age and now Wang Xing Yue. Bright future ahead, imagine them few years from now.
can i just ask... who did the korean dubbing. bcs it sounds... questionable. like at times i though it sounded…
This is what I also wondered. Xu Kai's character speaks the most fluent and understandable korean among all of the korean speaking people in the drama. Which is ironic since he's chinese and the other ones are supposed to be korean. The "korean" characters speak super accented korean, they pronounce words wrong and the pacing of their speech is not how koreans speak korean. So I wondered why didn't they just hire somebody to dub who actually speaks korean.. I don't mean to mock chinese pronouncing korean, I would understand if the characters would have been written as chinese. But since they specifically wanted to bring korean characters into the drama, it was just cringeworthy to listen.
Love the drama otherwise but why did they have to add characters that are korean and then dub them speaking super awkward korean with a strong accent. I understand ML's accent since he's chinese in the drama but the characters that are korean in the drama, it's very cringeworthy to hear them speak. Why didn't they hire someone to dub who actually speaks fluent korean..
I don't know why this drama has a high rating. Watched 10 episodes and so far not good. It's dragging way too much, it's like they repeat the same story every episode. I've been fast-forwarding because it's been boring..
The whole drama was boring. I fast forwarded most parts.. the dialogue was not good and the story didn't progress almost at all in the first like 10 episodes. If I had known it would be like this, I would have skipped the whole drama.
I normally don't like these types of dramas, like 'Ashes of Love' and 'Eternal Love of Dream' were too overhyped in my opinion. I started this basically as the poster and synopsis were good but I was still kind of aware how this could go into the group of those dramas I previously mentioned. But instead, this has been great from the start. Really enjoying the story and the characters so far. I hope they don't make it end like most of these types of chinese dramas do mostly end.
Well, in Finland, we call everyone by their first name. We do have titles, mainly like "mr." (Herra) and "mrs" (Rouva) etc but they are used in extremely formal situations. Foreigners usually are horrified how can we call everyone by their first name but it's because our language does not have titles for everyday use and calling everybody by their last name just sounds awkward. At school, we also call our teachers by their first names, same in university. Or just by "teacher" (opettaja/ope/maikka) or "professor" (professori/proffa). Even at work, we call our supervisors by their first names. We also never call our siblings as "brother" (veli) or "sister" (sisko) unless we have to make clear who they are for someone who is not familiar with their first names. Soooooo, imagine me, starting to watch asian dramas and getting hella confused by titles that are used when talking about someone. Took a bit time to understand the whole concept. Now I'm used to it though since I have watched asian dramas like 15 years already :D
I started watching because of Wang Yibo and because the story sounded interesting. But I'm at ep 18 and the story is going nowhere and there is no clear plot.. Also, the production quality low. I'm super disappointed, I waited this for long and it was really hyped..
