Title Poisoned Love Spoiler
I think the whole mistaken identity thing was stupid and dragged too long. The doctor said first and foremost that FL needs to find somebody who she will love. And because mistaken identity she abandons the one person she loves at first... like they forgot the whole point. This was frustrating to watch.

I don't understand why people start watching this with the expectation of it to have complicated story and plot and then complain the lack of it when this is obviously a light romcom. For me this is just perfect to watch without having to note every little detail and concentrate on every single twists in the plot. I love watching the interaction between the leads, they're really sweet and they have good chemistry.

I am in the minority but I don't get the hype with this and I struggle to finish the drama. I've been bored since the first episode but I just kept going because I waited something amazing to happen since most people have been like "omg this is a masterpiece". This is my opinion, everybody has a different taste and this wasn't my cup of tea. I like Kim Soo Hyun as an actor, but even he cannot save this for me.

I instantly fell in love with the leads. They’re too cute! This is one where II’m so desperate to watch I…
Omg same! This drama is just right up my alley :D

Just came to check in, has Alan Yu’s acting gotten better?
His character what he's playing in here is not showing a lot of emotion. But he captures his character well when his character gets emotional. I definetly would say his acting is not bad in this drama

My tip for beginners: don't start with those overly long historical (wuxia, xianxia etc) dramas. Sometimes they are hard to watch as a beginner because of the plot which often includes so many twist and turns that you should know chinese culture a bit to understand the story and the character behaviours. So start with something easy, I recommend modern dramas at first and something light which are usually romcoms.

I absolutely agree. And also, I hate those dramas which have countless misunderstandings between the leads like for example FL eavesdrops and hears only half of the conversation behind a door, leaves and misunderstand the ML while the rest of the conversation would have dissolved any misunderstandings. So annoying.

The whole drama was super cute and leads chemistry was great! But throughout the drama I just couldn't take the ice hockey scenes seriously. I am an ice hockey fan and ice hockey is a national sport where I live.. this drama had soooooo many errors when it comes to how to play ice hockey. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the story and the sweet moments.

One thing that annoys me here (and annoyed me in Skate into Love) is how little research the drama staff had done regarding ice hockey. The story and chemistry is good but whenever they show ice hockey scenes I just can't take the drama seriously. For example, in the first episodes there were so many scenes with high-sticking that I already lost count. It might look a cool shot to the camera when you raise the stick up high, but in real game you are doing a violation of rules.

and how are you with picking what drama to start? do you take your time and only start dramas you think you will…
I'm not very picky at choosing what I'll start but I know my genres well. I usually don't do well with melodramas but I have watched dramas from every genre. Sometimes I put dramas into my on-hold list if I'm not interested in them based on few episodes but I don't want to drop them either and I want to give them a second chance sometime in the future.

I really hate every drama in which the drama writers will throw the amnesia card. Like you wait for how many episodes until finally the main couple gets together, only to watch one of them having sudden amnesia in the next episode.. which propably will last few more episodes if not until to the very last episode. And all this is happening usually after there is the truck of doom and one of the main leads gets sent into hospital and wakes up remembering nothing from their other half. They usually remember everything else just fine. I'll end my rant about amnesia in dramas here xD

I usually never drop dramas, I tend to stick what I started. Those dramas on my dropped list are either the ones where the subbing team quit and I cannot find subbed episodes or the dramas that are really, really horribly made starting from the plot and I just couldn't go on watching.
On Well Dominated Love Jul 10, 2020
I'm in episode 6 and so far the editing is horrible, dubbing is ridiculously bad and the story is boring. I might fast forward the whole show just to see how it ends.

For me it's definetly the break-ups that ruin the drama. Nowadays I'm almost used to waiting the scene when the leads break-up, and I'm super amazed if there is not a break-up scene in the whole drama. And what's worse are those dramas when leads break-up and get together for three to four times. Like seriously...

Thinking about taking this as my next project. The trailer looks very sweet
Thank you for considering :) these type of dramas are just my cup of tea~

I've watched k-dramas since 2009 and I feel like I've seen it all. I pretty much have crystalball to tell what happens next from the signs they give in the drama. Sometimes k-dramas can be unpredictable and I applaud everytime something surprises me. But I pretty much know things like everytime there's the white truck there's like 90% of chance that the lead will get memory loss after being in an accident. K-dramas just use the same cliches over and over. And I still enjoy watching k-dramas :D though nowadays I look for something unique in a story.

Joy of Life has arguably the best written plot out of any Chinese drama produced this decade besides Nirvana in…
Well, that was just my opinion, everyone has different taste; somebody may like it very much while somebody might not. And I don't care about the facts like drama budgets being low and how dramas look with the set, if its an interesting story I wil keep on watching no matter what. I stand behind what I said, for me this drama is boring. I am still watching it though because as I said I have a habit to finish what I start and I want to see how they end it.

Almost everyone has been hyping this drama and saying it's the best ever.. so I started it based on the recommendations. I guess I'm one of the few people who aren't sold on this. I'm on episode 11 and really bored.. I usually finish what I start but with this it's going to be tough. And it's not even that I don't like historical mystery, I enjoyed Under the power and Joy of life.. but with this it feels like it's never picking up for me. I hope it gets better but I doubt it..
