No but I was thinking the same thing. Like with Thai BLs the actors act in other BLs even if it's with a different partner but Taiwanese "BL actors" don't ever do another role except a short cameo.

there's were a few aspects I didn't like and even when re-watching it the romance at the beginning felt iffy. the sad ending was like a cherry on the cake kinda addition. not saying it's a bad bl just that it's not the best in the HISory series.
