I know Qi min's character isn't great, he is a villian..but he loves his wife madly... I'm just wondering why…
if someone "loves" you to the point of madness, but uses your (and his!) own child to control you, kills people without hesitation and so on, is it really true love? Would you be able to genuinely love a person like that? I don't know how you'd answer the question, but the point is that it's very understandable why Qianqian doesn't love him.
I have a question/observation about today's episode:
Did Baoer have some kind of filter put on his eyes? They seemed greenish and soulless until he saw Changning, then they turned back to brown. Was it to symbolise the traumatised state that he was in?
am I the only one whoโs confused with all the names ๐ญ
me too ๐๐ I only memorize the main leads' and side characters' (who show up often or have a very unique name) names... otherwise I have to guess who they're talking about based on context
I personally like to watch while it's airing, because it's so fun to share your live reactions or read others'…
I need them toooo, but at the same time I know that I would not get anything done if they were out, I'd just be stuck to a screen for a few days and regret watching it so fast ๐ฉ๐
I personally like to watch while it's airing, because it's so fun to share your live reactions or read others' while we're all watching the drama at the same time! Also, you have to avoid spoilers like a ninja if you put off watching a popular drama that's airing ๐ฅท๐
So does anyone know how much 30 taels in modern money? ๐ I really want to know how much YZ got pimped out ๐
I'm pasting this from Wikipedia ("liang" is another name for "tael"):
"Modern studies suggest that, on purchasing power parity basis, one liang of silver was worth about 4,130 yuan RMB in the early Tang dynasty, 2,065 yuan RMB in the late Tang dynasty, and 660.8 yuan RMB in the mid Ming dynasty.[citation needed] As of February 2024, the price of silver is about 254 yuan RMB/liang of 50 g."
soooo I don't know which time they're at exatctly, buuut let's count how much that would be in early Tang dynasty - one tael then was about 4130 yuan. 4130 yuan = 513 euros or 597 dollars.
multiply that by 30 and we get: 123900 yuan = 15 393 euros or 17 927 dollars
How tf do they not get sick when it's snowing 24/7 and they always have the door and windows open? In cdramas…
They might be immune to it at this point? I'll admit that with the way the ML was completely covered in snow at the beginning for who knows how many hours while being hurt, I'd not expect a person to survive. But hey, at least we get insanely pretty cinematography because of all this snow ๐
Hello...I wanna ask something, if anyone have any opinion please do share...Just now I was watching ep-8 and I'm…
I've thought about this too, especially considering today's toxic body standards in China. However, in this case the stereotype of a butcher in most people's minds is indeed someone who is strong and isn't very gentle. Add this to the context of ML having a reputation of straight up refusing other girls (even the princess!) and it makes sense why his friend made such an assumption in his head ๐ค
I really like how it's going so far! It's so nice to see Ha Ran slowly opening up again, not afraid of being friendly with other people ๐ฅน Sunwoo Chan is also very cute, can we appreciate how he's trying to help her with her trauma while overcoming his own?? They both heal each other โน๏ธโน๏ธโค๏ธโ๐ฉน
I wonder if by the end they'll become the golden retriever couple ๐๐ฆฎ
If it happens in china, they would just AI him. That reminds me, with the leap ai technology recently makes, can…
I think it might have been possible to do if he was a side character. Then they could cut down his scenes, leave only the significant ones and replace his face in them. But since he's the lead? It's basically impossible. Or it would take a lot of effort, money and years to do it and it most likely wouldn't be worth it ๐คทโโ๏ธ
