This show has so much more depth to it than just a "detective drama". Though I'm sorry that I probably can't say the following well, I can say that this show has so much more to it than your usual police/detective/crime/mystery/thriller show. There are so many more emotions and genuine, unique, honest traits that make this show such the amazing show it is.First off, and possibly most importantly, is the cast. This show is filled with a cast of amazing stars, to say the least. Whether it be the main, support, or guest cast! Each moment of this show was filled to the brim with thrills, suspense, action, comedy, drama, mystery, and so much more and I believe that was in (at least halfway) due to the cast selected for each episode and for the entire show. With such a strong cast, it is very easy to see how this show has wowed so many people. However, I still think it's a little bit underrated, and that may possibly be because of the synopsis. I mean, I cannot be the only one who thought: "retirees helping a rookie detective? definitely boring or some comedy"...right? If I'm wrong, I sincerely apologize. But, trust me: The above, previous, thought is definitely wrong!
Secondly, the story in itself is something viewers see a lot within detective shows, right? However, this show is different. This show has a story that is just so completely different from the "normal" detective shows that I'm at a loss for words, and I just finished the entire series in one day; that's how amazed I am. This story is so classic, yet so new at the same time. I think that is what makes it so special. For example, while you're watching, you may think that this show definitely has no point and will somehow (maybe even sloppily, very quickly) throw together some random finale episode(s). Which is what I thought as well. However, if you pay attention very closely, you can almost see the entire plot become strung together within each episode, piece by piece. There are hints and there are fake hints, too, but if you properly pay attention to each episode the story may come in to view, or it just may become extremely confusing.
You would think I have a third, or maybe even fourth, point here but I don't. In fact, my first and second points were probably so obvious to other viewers. Trust me, this show is something special; something that does not come around very often. The acting and story were solid, very genuine and real. Each moment was so gut-wrenching, heartfelt, knowledgeable, practiced and perfected through very visible hard work, talent, and respect. Every detail was so painstakingly created with respect and pride and love for the craft from the writer(s), director, crew and staff, cast and guest(s), even the soundtrack and other behind the scenes people(s) that this show is quite literally a "masterpiece".

Unexpectedly Intense
This show was way more involved and intense than I thought it would be! If you're looking for a quick, dramatic, epic show of detective skills that aren't always on the up-and-up or a show that seems to be a little more bad than good, then maybe this show is for you!Also, if you're a Nakamura Tomoya fan then you should check this show out. It's nice to see him in a light that seems more "on the line" of good and evil than pure good, or pure evil. The "on the line" feeling is what makes this show so intensely interesting and mesmerizing!
I do feel that this show is missing something, I can't put my finger on it but it feels a little lacking in some aspects in a couple of episodes. The dramatics aren't car chases or explosions, but somewhere in the middle of the same type of danger level. It sort of feels like "anticipation" of what's to come is building and building but the "what's to come" doesn't necessarily happen immediately... its the building and building that keeps you on the edge of your seat and keeps you entranced!

The story itself is a little slow moving at the beginning but it isn't bad or uninteresting at all in the least! I really think this show is a hidden, underrated gem!

I was skeptical of Inoo Kei at the beginning (yes I've seen him in other drama's and shows before) and he made me a little biased and assume this show was going to go in a completely different direction, genre wise, than it actually did! Inoo Kei quite literally made this show insanely interesting, magical, and ridiculously exciting! This was my first time watching Totsuka Shota in anything and he may play my favorite character from the entire show; though so is Inoo Kei! The idol pair as brothers is a wonderful match!
To me, this show seems a little underappreciated. At first, I saw a big hype for it when it was first released and I think it was because of the people cast (Inoo Kei and Totsuka Shota) to play the two main characters', but even then the hype and excitement quickly died down to almost a whisper if anything at all. This show is not your typical "aliens come to earth" sci-fi drama by any means! There is so much depth, emotion, understanding; even something excitingly bittersweet and human about this "alien" series!

It is not often that I say this, because a show or a movie has to be really special, almost near "perfection", to be able to make me say this, but... I adore this series.Have you watched a tv show or read a book or played a video game and then watched its movie, or vice versa? You have expectations, right? You'll think: "It's going to be so amazing!", or "I bet everyone will be just the same!"... but once you go see it, you realize there have been many changes or everything is completely different; or even just one tiny change has made the entire story completely... well, wrong. I have to be honest, I had those fears before I watched this movie, since this is a series that I came to absolutely adore... and I was not disappointed. If anything, I was most definitely surprised and I fell in love with the characters, the stories, the ambiance, the calming effect of human decency and honesty and the unique, relatable humility that each person showed within this movie and each of its stories.
And I know I say that in a lot of my reviews, of this movies' first three seasons and other series and movies, but I have to tell you that I am being 100% honest in saying that this show has shown me more honesty, humanity, humility, love, understanding, kindness, consideration, and depth within reality and movies/tv shows a-like that I am in awe of its talents.

This show absolutely did not disappoint! It was nothing like what I originally thought it would be and is definitely underrated. The story is unique and something I've never really seen before, though it did remind me of one show. However, this drama holds its own ground very strongly! The cast was well picked, and it was nice to see a lot of diversity, acceptance, and humanity throughout the entire show.Each episode had an interesting story to tell so each piece (aka episode) fit into the ending puzzle well. and each episode's story did just that perfectly! Granted, I haven't watched a lot of dramas so I may be wrong, and lots of these circumstances are ones I've seen before, however, I've never seen any of these circumstances played out so well (let alone mixed into the story so well) as this show has portrayed them. It was really amazing to watch each person grow and find the place that they belong, either by themselves or with the help of others. This show displayed so many different human emotions with real, honest humility and portrayed humanity as something tangible and kind.
I honestly learned a lot about many different things from watching this show.

The show itself was spooky and full of suspense and thrilling moments. It definitely fit right in after the first season and absolutely made me want more. Each actor was amazing and at the end of this season it felt like their roles were just opening up for the viewers and for each person's personality to be explored; however, I did like how they all seemed to fit like puzzle pieces, acting and reacting well with each other to form the perfect team.
If you enjoy thrilling suspense, spooky detective work, and true-to-life stories then this show is absolutely a must see! It's a drama that is wonderfully made, right down to the last second.

Simply Hilarious
Some humor and jokes don't travel across cultures well and every person has a different type of humor, but the more you watch this show the more you may understand.A great show with a fantastic cast of hilarious comedians, including a lot of up-and-coming comedians, some veterans, and even some partners from "manzai" duos! Each episode was thrilling, mysterious, enthralling, and absolutely hilarious watching everyone laugh and tell the most ridiculous stories with even more ridiculous reactions! The cast changes and topic differences are just perfect to carry on the different stories and yet still connect them together. This is absolutely a must-watch if you are just getting started with Japanese dramas (you can get to know some really amazing actors/actresses and comedians) or if you have nothing to watch, and especially if you need a good laugh! I really hope there's a sequel!

This story started off as a typical police/crime drama, however, it is much, much more than only that. This show blows apart the typical parts of such dramas and creates a whole new style. Never have I seen such an amazing story about the good, the bad, the ugly, and the dark sides of one "organization".
Each person in this story took on their own role with such a large amount of respect that you could feel the tension, not to mention the genuine emotions that each person had while filming this show. The definition of this show is most honestly: tangible. As I've said above, each moment was intensely tangible.
Not once will you regret this show. Each second is filled with moments that will take your breath away!

As much as this show sticks to the typical detective/police/crime genre it is also one of the most dramatic, ridiculous, insane, and hilarious shows that I have seen in a long time. This type of witty, quick thinking humor fits within the typical dramatics of being a detective/police officer of this series very well! I've laughed with every episode; and I haven't been able to figure out who the criminal is, let alone what would happen next within the inner workings of the police station!
This show, I believe, is underrated and definitely worth a lot more interest! I'm glad there's a season two and a season three (or is it a remake?) coming soon! I've really enjoyed seeing a funny side to a lot of the actors and actresses in this show whom I have only seen in serious roles; it was very refreshing and, for me, made the show even better!

In the beginning, the synopsis is what piqued my interest, but after looking at the cast and seeing a few of my favorite actors/actresses, I began to watch it. Throughout this entire show, I sympathized with each character as they worked hard in the office and in their daily life; even empathizing with a couple of characters specifically. This show really hit me in the stomach... hard! I could feel each and every character's determination and efforts, as well as their disappointments and worries through the entire show. The actors and actresses cast for this show were superb and their talent was amazing; it was like I was watching how a real office works instead of a drama show.
The story itself was really unique, definitely one of a kind! I really admire Ataru for how hard she worked just to be herself and not someone who has such a"special skill", which is something you don't really see in the typical supernatural/psychological genre. This show has so many lessons within each episode and every story through the entire show is so heartfelt.

Each actor was wisely chosen for their part and the way they all worked well with each other was superb! The chemistry between each person was felt throughout the movie. I felt like I was watching a special episode of the anime, the characters in this live-action fit so well to the original characters of the anime. Definitely a fantastically made anime to live-action movie.

Ghosts and Bunnies!
This show is hilarious, thrilling, suspenseful, deep, genuine, and very unique. I do not understand how this series has only 9 episodes!The cast was perfectly in sync with each other; comedic delivery and response(s) were on point, the romance levels were just right to fit within supernatural, suspense, mystery, thrilling, action, and comedy genres (and I'm sure a few more I'm not thinking of), the personalities of the actors themselves really came through in the characters they played which made the characters seem like real people!
I have to say, this show was very well made too. I seriously wish this show had a second season or even 12 episodes. The ending seemed to be lacking in a few areas and I was left with the "I want to see more; I want to know more about these people" type of feeling. This show is not one to be missed out on though! I definitely recommend this series!
