I went 100% blind on this series. No trailers, no sneak peaks. I didn't event knew who was on this. So, what happened? Well, I just binge-watched this.
(1) Loved the setting! Beautiful picture and locations. I wish we could have seen Fifa and/or Hem doing more different works at the park, just as an excuse to see more wildlife and natural sights.
(2)The acting was quite good, and the ML's chemistry on point. This was my first time watching Arm & Ton in anything, so I didn't know what to expect. Kudos to them! because I really saw "love" in their eyes and in their actions. Both guys showed some nice acting range, giving their characters a sense of growth.
Also, it's always a pleasure (for me) to watch Nammon as a supporting actor, but it's never enough! His main-role series is long overdue, in my opinion.
(3) My only issue was with the pacing on the show during the first 2 or 3 episodes. Some tasks were too repetitive which made some scenes feel longer than needed. And this was actually contradictory, because the series, overall, has this "slow burn vibes, that flew by". In fact, by episode 7, I was left asking for more.
(4) The plot itself was interesting for me, yet the writing needed some work. The mega-slow-no-kiss? unnecessary.
Anyway, I would absolutely love to watch a second season or, at the very least, a special episode to give them some real romantic closure, and some real kiss. Forget the sex, just give us lovey-dovey and I'm down.

The ending is not good. If the father was going to be such a pain in the ass, then it should have been established earlier in the series.
Also, I wonder if it's illegal to be independant of your parents in Thailand. Because I just don't get it.
If you grow up in a family with no money issues (not even rich-rich), by the time you are an adult, you should be smart enough to have a personal savings account with lots of money. Even if you don't, you can get a job and live the way you want, with whoever you want. You may struggle for a couple of months, but it won't be SIX years ffs.

I enjoyed this, not because it was good, but because I was really bored at the time.
There's no real football in this, and the final episode was a complete mess.
The main story was entertaining, but poorly written. The secondary couple was super cute, but there was not enough screentime for them.

It's messy, kinda chaotic, but not at all overly complicated.
I'm having so much fun with this!
Also, Oat is just <3

The person who wrote the script deserves a smiley-golden-sun sticker. It's a masterpiece, for a kindergarten student.
It was fun to watch. I actually enjoyed Tian Xiang's abs, I mean, the story. Yeah, ah-ha, yep.
On The Boy Next World: Uncut Mar 17, 2025
This wasn't good. It wasn't horrible, but I was expecting so much more.
What I liked: (1) ML's acting and chemistry; (2) Second lead couple was super cute and interesting; (3) Phu's group of friends was so nice, supportive and fun to watch; (4) The parallel universe "idea" was great, the execution not so much.
What I didn't like: (1) The pacing of the story kinda threw me off... some dialogues felt either unnecessary or super-boring; (2) Jin & Wim needed (and deserved) more screen time; (3) Way too much tears and melodrama; (4) The show didn't have the balls to give a better resolution to the family situation. It's 2025, and respect to elders and parents have its limits. I would have murdered the mom's public image, at the very least.
On Spare Me Your Mercy Mar 14, 2025
I really enjoyed this! I don't mind the "lack of romance", because people seems to forget that Thiu never really trusted in Kan. He caught feelings, for sure, but at the back of his mind he felt like something was off from the very beginning.
Loved the plot. It got me conflicted and interested the whole 8 episodes.

This wasn't perfect, but it was super entertaining!
I'm sure I'll be rewatching this pretty soon =)

Title Only for Fans Spoiler
The story is quite simple, and the plot is actually not bad, but it needed more than 9 minutes to make the viewer…
1. Adult Content Creator (ACC) "collaborates" with a long-time fan in a video. That means, to have sex.
2. ACC enjoyed having sex with this fan. We can asume that he actually liked this fan, based on comments from viewers of this first video talking about how ACC never kissed someone before. Also, ACC was anxiously waiting for the fan's reply to his texts.
3. ACC & Fan met again and have sex... again. After that, ACC proposes to open a "couple's account". That's his way to get closer to the fan and make sure they will keep having sex together.
4. There's a time jump of at least 1 month, because there's a conversation about splitting incomes from last month. Which means, an entire month of sex 4 pay... and they didn't even show us.
5. The plot twist. Fan was apparently in a relationship. Not a very good one, if we consider that his friend was mocking him on the phone. It's been more than a year without sex between them, and we can only assume that this lack of sex is what drove him to ACC videos in the first place.

The story is quite simple, and the plot is actually not bad, but it needed more than 9 minutes to make the viewer feel "something". Yes, when you delete every repeated scene, 9 mins is all what you get.
The editing is so messy (not artsy) that most people didn't even understand what was going on. The director failed in the process of deconstruction of the story and the fill-the-gaps secuences.
I'll explain it for you, with a spoiler warning.

Title Fourever You
I fast forward the first couple to get to the Second. Johan and North made this drama for me. I think Earth needs…
I didn't dislike Earth's acting. He pretty much nailed the rol, if childish and over the top was what he was asked to do (type-casted? Maybe. But a job is a job). The real problem was the character and his way of thinking, but that's not the actor's fault.
I feel like Earth's acting was pretty much on pair with Pond's, but most people tend to give him a free pass because he's hot. I mean, Hill showed the same stiff face for every emotion. Even the way Hill stared to Ter was kinda weird... far from "oh, I'm so in love with you" and more on the tone of "I'm a serial killer". And just to be clear, I've seen Pond acting in other show, and he's clearly better than that. So, my money is on the direction, not the acting.

I could honestly watch an entire third season of Johan and North sitting on the couch, doing nothing but being cute together. Who needs a plot!?
On Fourever You (Uncut Ver.) Jan 27, 2025
Loved the show, overall!
[1] I really like how they presented the friendships in this. North & Easter are adorable. They complement each other so well! It's always nice (for me) to watch some caring and supportive friends, who can have mature conversations but can also be chaotic and childish, bickering and teasing each other. On the other hand, the Meds-Gang show a different kind of friendship, still caring and supportive, but without the sweetness factor. In the end, they all go the extra mile for each other.
[2] I didn't hate HillTer story. I do agree that it was a bit messy/absurd at some points, but I trully enjoyed the first 3 episodes of their relationship and the mystery around it. After that, their relationship felt unnecessarily slow, with way too many flashbacks in almost every episode. However, the biggest issue for this couple it wasn't the plot nor the writing nor the acting, Their biggest issue was JohanNorth.
[3] JohanNorth stole the show, big time! As soon as Jo and North met (EP 5), all I wanted to see is more and more of them. And it took a while until they got a fair share of screentime, so that's one of the reasons why (I think) some viewers disliked HillTer.
Jo & North storyline was nothing revolutionary in the BL industry, but it worked because it's entertaining, chaotic but so sweet! North was an amazing character by himself (sometimes mature, sometimes goofy; hot-headed, caring, non-complicated), so watching him falling in love with Johan was a delight. And the fact that they are so touchy and open to talk and act about what they feel for each other is really the cherry on top.

The script is obviously a masterpiece made by John, from accounting.
I'm only here for Bas, so I won't complain too much.

Title 2 Moons
I came here after watching Bas in FY. And I must say, he doesn't disappoints.
In all honesty, I didn't hate this show nearly as much as I thought I would. It is kinda slow pacing for sure, but it feels nostalgic, somehow.
In a perfect parallel universe (for me), "2 Moons" would have the script from "2 Moons 2" played by all the actors from 2 Moons, with the sole exception of Kit and Forth.

Title Gen Y
I decided to give this another shot (I dropped the series before). I finished it, but I was really fed up with all the nonsense by the second half.
Positives:
A) Wayu and Mark's friendship. It felt natural in every aspect. I'll let slide that nonsensical request from Thanu and Mark's involvement. I mean, If my BF's crush ask me to help on that WITHOUT proper explanation, I'm spilling the tea right away, because something smells fishy.
B) Bas' performance as Wayu was by far the best.
C) Phai's attitude by the end (and I hope he keeps it). People should learn how and when to let go.

Negatives:
1) I'm guessing the nicest part of the show for most of the viewers was MarkKit, but, personally, I didn't like them. I blamed the actors, mostly the one playing Kit. They made me feel endless nothingness during the entire show.
2. The "mystery" behind Pha and Thanu's disappearence seems to be a mystery even for the writers. I'm hoping there's some good explanation during season 2 (Yes, I'll watch it. I'm masochistic like that).
3. The storyline between Tong and Pok was kinda boring. Unnecessary, even.
4. It was hard for me to root for Wayu and Thanu, when 2 or 3 times in every last episodes Thanu is looking like a puppy in love to Phai. Not a good way to start a relationship. I hope they stop by the beggining of season 2, otherwise Thanu will be included in my list of Walking Red Flags in BL.
5. Because of what I've said previously, I was kinda rooting for Thanu and Phai, because the writers and producers put too much effort in made them look mesmerized by one another. In my mind, Wayu deserves better. However, after the ending scene of season 1, I'm absolutely rooting for Wayu and Pha. I mean, I'd root for Big Thanakorn even If he plays a criminal or something worse.
6. Sandee should suffer a terrible and bloody ending. I'm manifesting, right now.
On 'Cause You're My Boy Jan 12, 2025
There's a lot of problems with this show: the sound is terrible, the editing is suspicious, the writing is inconsistent and the acting could be better (everyone's acting, not just the ML), to name a few.
Having said that, I still enjoyed this show. I like the straightforward but not-so-simple plot, and the portrayal of teenagers was quite refreshing, specially when compared to some of the more recent Thai BL's.
For me, this show has 3 major positive notes that overshadow any negatives:
1. Drake's hairy legs. Thank you.
2. Drake's happy face, tip of the tongue out.
3. Drake's ears.
I mean, Drake looks cute AF! He's the one and only reason why I've endured this show till episode 12, and I'm not ashamed to say it.
On The Middleman's Love: Uncut Jan 9, 2025
I really struggled through all 8 episodes. I thought Jade's character was OK in Bed Friend. Awkward, but sweet. He was a little cringey, but he served his purpose has a comic relief.
Now, when it comes to TML, I can honestly say that no other character in BL has made me feel as uncomfortable as Jade. Not even those japanese shrine makers (if you know, you know) could beat him. I disliked Jade from beggining to end, so I couldn't buy for a second that Mai would be interested in him unless he has a "nanny complex" or he is some kind of child pr*dator with bad sight, considering that Jade is 28 yo, but sounds and behaves like a 5 y.o. on sugar rush.
Tong and Gus were by far the more interesting storyline for me. I really wanted to see more of them.
At the end, I generously rated this with 6 stars. Zero for Jade, One for KingUea, Two for TongGus, and another three for shirtless Mai. That's it.
On Remember Me Jan 8, 2025
Title Remember Me
I've just finished this. It was way too long and overly melodramatic, considering how simple the plot was, really. And the funny thing is, when it needed to be dramatic... it fell short.
i.e. Name's reason to "go mute"... it was traumatic, sure, but it felt disconnected somehow. In my mind, I was expecting something like "When I was 5 yo, some assaulters invaded my childhood home and killed my dad, abused my mom, and I was forced to hide and stay quiet for 2 days straight". Now, THAT's traumatic AND connected to him being scared of speaking.
I also didn't enjoy the several time jumps without warning, specially during the college days.
Champ's storyline was my least favourite. I kinda disliked the guy most of the time.
The WIGS were amazing. They had personality and a life of its own, which is why I strongly believe that they deserved a spot on the credits. And yes, this is sarcasm.
