This is a remake of an American series of the same name. It is excellent but very hard to find. 3 seasons. I can’t wait to see this new version.

I can see that I may have contradicted myself there. 😜I think what I was trying to convey was that I didn’t find him attractive or sensual when he did that, and that’s just totally my opinion, not a criticism of the actor or the film’s intent. on the other hand, I thought Keita Machida was 🔥!!

Obviously we all rate shows and movies based on our own standards and preferences, but I must admit it bugs me when folks drop a rating on something they basically liked or loved because it didn’t have enough of something, in this case, romance. I wish more people would rate it for what the writer/director intended. The slow burn and emotional development in this film was written that way for a reason, perhaps as a tease and to frustrate us a bit. If we expect something we don’t get, are we really appreciating the art or just stamping our feet because we didn’t get what we wanted?

I gave it an 8/10 only because I wasn’t fond of Keita Machida’s facial expressions while he danced. I found it distracting and annoying, but both men’s dancing was spectacular!!

I disagree. I think she is delightfully innocent and childlike. Her facial expressions are adorable.

I hope anyone who reads this isn’t discouraged from watching this beautiful show. A lot of people are perplexed by the ending, but please watch it and decide for yourself.
