I just googled it if you have the Huntington’s gene, you will get it, but the onset of symptoms varies, so you never know when the symptoms might start. Depending on the severity of your symptoms death can occur anywhere from 10 to 30 years. So the person I knew his teenage daughter had Huntington’s only live two years I think after the progression of the symptoms as far as I know I didn’t ask her much about it because it was a painful topic, but from what I’ve heard her daughter started developing the symptoms and her tweens.

Yunxi seriously needs to gain weight😕 even I can't help but notice it, sometimes he seriously looks malnourished
As someone who was been naturally underweight, my whole life until I was in my 30s and I started gaining weight. People would come up to me and make comments about my weight and how I should eat more. It’s so rude and it honestly drove me crazy.

Title Love Is Panacea Spoiler
Is this drama a happy ending or a sad ending? What happens at the end?
That I think that ultimately it will have a sad end because Huntington's is an incurable disease. Currently she doesn't have any onset of symptoms but once the symptoms start manifesting depending on the severity of the disease your body gradually loses its ability to function on its own until you can't even breathe on your own so it's pretty much a death sentence for the person who has it. I knew someone whose daughter had developed it she ultimately succumb to the disease at 16 years old I think. That's what makes this disease so horrific is that it can hit you at any age.

It is really aggravating that time travel, interdimensional, travel, or reincarnation is banned from being shown. Or they can show them, but then they have to do it in such a way that it’s portrayed as not being real, like having a random narrator, or being like oh, the main character what is transported into a novel.

yup completely agree and honestly I feel like it just gets worse as the ML falls for her and forces his feelings…
you didn't ruin it I'd already known the ending a long time ago LOL. I never got beyond the river of Oblivion scene so it's interesting to find out that he did have Justified motivations to wipe out her family. I think the only thing for me is how he could expect her to love him after that even if she understood why he had to do it later

I mean yes, and goodbye, my princess she did love him until she found out that he’d orchestrated the slaughter of her family and clan, and then she tried to jump into the river of a believing to forget him. he wouldn’t even give her that though, and end up, falling in in the process of trying to save her which she didn’t want since she was trying to escape him anyway lol. I know that he loved her, but he love the thought of power more.

I've been debating whether I should continue watching on because the male lead just completely turned me off to be honest. I haven't gotten very far into the drama but I just don't understand why he wanted her to force her into being his concubine in the first place. like did they ever actually investigate who poisoned the water? she's in love with someone else why would he want to force her into a relationship? like maybe it's because I think it was a couple years since the drama was filmed and maybe been a lot edited out but I just find a really confusing because I just don't understand his motivations for wanting to have herpes concubine.

That’s good I would’ve been really disappointed if she only showed that one moment of assertiveness and then doesn’t progress so I was hesitant to continue

In a general sense, the one criticism I have for this drama is that there was not enough control over the narrative.…
Here’s my interpretation after getting comments from the novels and what not so the Yai that Jom meets in 1928 is actually Yize second incarnation. The person that helped Jom’s spirit to the surface from somebody told me that was actually commander Yai which was Yai’s first incarnation who was alive during the 1700s.

I’m a bit confused I haven’t watch the last two episodes of the dinner reveal are you talking about Yai’s engagement, dinner? Or is there another dinner after that? Oh, I’m not sure how it was. Under explained I mean the whole thing was to bring to light Roberts crimes in order to save Yai’s and break off his engagement from being connected to a family who is corrupt.

I’m hoping there’s a second season because there was some changes from what I understand where Jom does go even further back to the past to meet commander Yai which is Yai’s first incarnation. I thought that Jom would travel to the very first incarnation, while he was still in a coma, but I just read another comment where somebody says that he was with Yai coming back from the theatre when he disappeared and travelled back to the past but I don’t know if that’s present day or not . I then read another comment, saying that he travelled back to the past after finding commander Yai’s ring which he had to go up from where it was buried

I have a question because I’ve only watched the first two episodes at the beginning of the second episode, when the female lead developed more of a backbone but then she kind of backs little bit, which I can understand because of trauma learning to be more assertive takes time. I was just wondering if she started to develop more of an attitude yet?

Although I enjoyed the movie, and I understand that there are some things that they have to cut out I didn’t like the fact that it didn’t really show her dreaming of the grotesquerie’s were the fact that she had a dream about what colour would match him best for his hair tie. I also didn’t like the fact that he ordered her to stay at the Usaba family home, because in the anime, he actually was fighting to get her back and would’ve won if her Cousin Arata hadn’t played a dirty trick she would’ve run to him her grandpa actually held her back.

I know horses are expensive and I agree, but I also think that in Asian countries, they just don’t necessarily have the same viewpoint and it shows

I think it’s more realistic when she is anxious as she’s been emotionally abused all her life and she’s…
At first, I was annoyed you know that she didn’t stand up for self, more after the initial scene for the bridal gown. Then I was thinking about it, and I was like for her to have such an extreme change would make it more unrealistic and unbelievable. When you have trauma, it takes time to try and change your behavior, and since she’s always been used to being subservient all her life, of course to have her suddenly not would be weird I think

the horses wtf ummm
As someone who is very passionate about animal welfare, I think it’s the one thing that I feel extremely guilty about is that usually the horses just don’t look well cared for in these dramas. I know that sometimes there’s a disclaimer, stating that no animals were harmed or something sometimes when I see the horses on screen, I just feel really sorry for them. I know that the standards, for humane treatment of animals in Asian countries is so vastly different from Western countries.

Now why the heck did the female lead go and get pregnant for a second time
I know it’s a show, but I getting pregnant and possibly producing a son that’s how women in those times gained power and status lol.

Anw, actually how many wives does ML have? I loose count...
I was gonna say having nine concubines isn’t nearly as bad as the female lead in the story of Zhouhua the female leads, father literally had like 19 concubines the 19th one he was marrying at the start of the drama at least I think it was the 19th one . When the female lead left to pursue her dreams and ambitions of becoming an official and then came back he didn’t even recognize her as his daughter, but his official wife did, and all she was doing was smirking at his stupidity 😂

So I started watching this drama and although I'm only five episodes in I just don't have a good opinion of the male lead. He's supposed to be really smart so I don't know if it's an act or not but it's like does he really believe that she killed his son? I understand wanting to place thenblame on someone in his grief and anger. If it were me I could never love someone who you know not only wants to use the one I love to keep me in line but then also tortures him as a way to give me incentive to hurry and investigation where I'm the suspect. I understand that she is knew and is probably easier to suspect rather then the women I have known for longer I'm like it's supposed to be a romance but how could she ever develop feelings for someone like that? But also even though the one she loves is a doctor and his family owns a pharmacy it's not the brightest bulb in the Box either who decides to break into the palace to rescue her without even a backup plan LOL
