I'm still really enjoying the show but I think that I got really excited because I thought for once we have show where the characters work through their things together with very little angst and or miscommunications 😂, especially after TTEoTM. C'EST Le Vie, I was thinking of this all day I'm glad they're separated now and he is the one that will have to be chasing her. 😆

I’ve never read the book of till the end of the moon, but I read lots of comments and posts about it, and I think that they really did a disservice to TTJ and Susie’s character, because they completely washed out his character, but kept her character the same. Because in the novel he was apparently completely irredeemable in the mortal arc, and after she stabbed him with the needles not only did he put her in a dark dungeon with no light until she grew so ill she went blind, but apparently he tortured her and repeatedly r@/$& her. Even when she knew that her time was near, she asked him to some kind of a flower that would heal her site so she could see him one last time and instead he gave it to her sister. That’s partially why It made the jump off the tower so much more poignant because she was literally broken from the misery. He reaped up on her. But apparently in the novel, she was just as awful to him so they were awful to each other than in the show they completely changed his character to make him more sympathetic, but never rewrote her character so then her character came off as a bitch. So all around it was just very poor writing on the part of the script writers for that show

I don’t have a problem with him, stabbing her to get the scale back. I had a problem with the fact that all he had to say was I need to take this back and she would’ve given it to him. No problem since she made a vow to help him find his parts, and she knew they giving him the heart scale that would kill her. She would’ve done it anyway if he just said I need to take this back. Problem I had is even though yes it was an emergency. All he had to do was take 30 seconds and say Su Yang kidnapped The kids and I need the heart scale to get it back and she would’ve just been like here you go even at the cost of her own life. Although later she might logically think oh somethings wrong. He has a reason, but hurt feelings aren’t always rational and so of course initially she’s going to respond with hurting and anger since she didn’t have a choice and he just took it by force.

As for LSS, the story is completely different as she seen his future self literally massacre her entire clan and since she literally went back to stop him from becoming evil, I had no problem with her actions towards him.

I think what people are upset about is because even though one can expects a show to change from the novel, the fact of the author is involved with writing the show and she’s completely deviated from her own novel to the point where you can’t even call this in adaption anymore apparently. Because in the novel there are no miscommunications they’ve always had complete honesty and trust between them. There are no misunderstandings. In fact, he never takes the heart scale back from her. I think at one point and I could be wrong. Somebody can correct me she offers to give it back and he refuses. The only reas The author is creating all the angst is to make the TV show run longer. Pretty much the author has gutted her own characters intentions for the sake of the show.

Why is her origin of mystery? She’s just human. If it hadn’t been for his heart scale, she would’ve died as an infant because she has a heart defect so basically his her skills the only thing that’s kept her alive all these years. Her power also comes from him because she has his spiritual veins as well.

It has been awhile since I watched it, but technically I think he killed her once? Well, I should say she actually killed her self on his played before he could lol. You can feel free to correct me.

The problem I have is that like literally, his heart scale is keeping her alive as she had a heart defect and although he added extra protection, I’m like how is that extra protection supposed to help the fact that she literally had a physically defective heart, and without his heart scale, she would die. Also, the fact that like, although she would understand the reasons for why he did what he did the fact that he literally didn’t explain anything like up until now they’ve had such great communication and trust. like I just don’t understand why he didn’t say something along the lines of I hope you understand why I have to take this back and she would’ve understood and said OK. sure he gave her protection, but he did it in secret, so she still gonna wake up with the misunderstanding that all he had to do was ask instead she probably thinks that he literally left her to die And literally he didn’t even wait to see if she passed out. He just took right away and literally left her collapsed on the ground in a vulnerable state to be taken advantage by anyone which ended up happening because BXS ends up pluggin the hole in her heart full of darkness, in order to save her .lol

Yes but even though he gave her Extra protection she doesn't know that all she knows is he took the heart scale out and that was basically what's keeping her alive if he just asked her about it she would have agreed but no instead he stabbed her and took it by force. In which they didn't need to have in the first place

And I'm going to Dragon Valley is changed because I guess in the novel they don't go to Dragon Valley they go to her hometown because that's where originally the tree that she burned down was.

Feeling kind of same like I was actually excited that for once we would have a drama where the leads actually communicated and trusted each other but guess that was too much to hope for lol

Problem that I have even though I'm not read the novel is apparently in the novel there's none of the things they trust each other from beginning to end yes he takes the heart protection scale from her but she does it with her permission and he gives it back later there's none of this oh I'm going to protect you in secret and not tell you about it so that when you make up you're going to misunderstand my intentions and be hurt. Very beginning they had such a great relationship and I was hoping that it would be one of those dramas where there would be a little Banks and no misunderstandings LOL

This is what I was thinking too she would have totally understood. miscommunications come in when there are secrets he could have totally been like hey I put a special spell on you last night when you were sleeping you'll be fine but I have to do this.

yeah but she doesn't know that, even if he knows she'll be okay it's still a betrayal on his part because she doesn't know that, not from the clips we've been shown. to say was I need to take this back to go after SuYing she would have let him do it but instead he just from what we can see says he's sorry before stabbing her in the heart. it's just a clip so there's a lot missing that we can't tell.

I think the problem I have is apparently he gave her stronger protections when she was sleeping but the scale is literally plugging the whole in her heart cuz she had a birth defect so no matter how strong protections he gives how can It fix her having a physically defective heart without the scale?
